Mich. Man in Wheelchair Takes Wild Ride

Amazing....

Fortunately the man is alright and could have recieved major injuries from such a ride.

But my question is this,

Are pedestrians too 'laxed' when crossing streets/crosswalks?

I know in my area, there seems to be a lot of 'incidents' happening with people crossing busy streets, in some cases causing death.

As a driver, my thoughts are just that, pedestrians do seem to be less cautious when crossing the street ( as mentioned, in my area at least ).
