Gay bar wins rights to ban hetrosexuals

A gay bar in Melbourne has won the right to turn away straight patrons, so it can provide an environment in which gay men can express their sexuality without feeling threatened.

This really gets me angry.

Without a doubt, if any nightclub (that wants to create an atmosphere for straight couples to meet) wanted to ban gay patrons, there would be outrage and public outcry etc etc.

%*#@ing double standards. I'm sick to death of it!


Disclaimer: i have nothing against the gay community... i just have a problem with double standards in todays society and the pandering to minorities.

i have nothing against the gay community either.. but, come on.. banning straight people from a club?
