we kill all the lawyers!"

No better advise has ever been ignored.

Rules are for sale in Washington. Lawyers create, promote, pass, and selectively enforce our laws, Crier tells her audience. What are our legislators? Our lawmakers? Who advises them on how to write those laws? Lawyers. Who are most of the lobbyists? - Lawyers.

Ah, Thomas - I could write on this for a age or two. It is of course typical of the peasants at Newsmax that they neither quote Shakespeare correctly, not attribute it (Henry VI Part 2); but the sentiments of Dick Butcher's words to Jack Cade are there.
Cade -rebel leader - incidentally, in the play, is talking about the abolition of money and the mob sees lawyers as the most money-grabbing, worthless, unjust and oppressive sector of society imaginable. I guess we'd add accountants now.
I read not long ago that 0.5% of all Americans are in some sense lawyers - eek!

Where the Swan of Avon stood on this -as on most issues -we shall never know: that is a splinter from his genius, not a failing.
But that he had the gift of putting into memorable, nay immortal, words the feelings of representatives of humanity from kings to clowns, we may not lightly doubt.
This to me is a fair summation of what poor working people feel when they see what lawyers make and how they make it.

Let's see:
NewsMax - that one goes without saying, but if you forgot, just think "tool".

Crier - The Right Wing can not get enough of those lawyers-turned-pundits-blonde-androngenous-she's-female-so-I'm-really-not-a homo-if-she-'does it for me'-masculine -featured Women, huh?

I agree with her points of frivolous law suits, but in the Losing the Forest for the Trees category: the biggest bringers of suits and biggest employers of these lawyers is Corporate America. Remember that when Ma & Pa America can't sue Eli Lily for turning Little Johnny into a vegetable because they wanted to make two cents more per dose by adding Mercury as a filler.
And I guess those Lobbyist ex-lawyers are doing it as a hobby?
