An amateur scientist has captured what Loch Ness Monster watchers say is among the finest footage ever taken of the elusive mythical creature reputed to swim beneath the waters of Scotland's most mysterious lake.

So many hoaxes over the years one has to wonder if the residents of the town keep perpetuating the myth to keep the tourist $$$$ rolling in. The footage apparently is really good quality as oposed to the flickering, grainy films we are used to seeing. Experts are looking at the film.

That may the BIG conspiracy here. It was aired on BBC Scotland, but I have not been able to find a cllip of it as of yet.
