Wankel engine in a tank?

Yes a wankel engine is designed for high RPM's to move something that heavy you need low end torque like a diesel motor,any displacement difference would be negated by a little engine having to run full throttle constantly,why sometime you have to weigh your options,in a lot of cases a 4 cyl motor gets less mileage then a 6 cyl,if your carrying anything of weight ,or a lot of hill climbing ,plus bigger motor will last much longer,and less break downs
