An innovative method of transforming coal waste into a powerful new energy form has been developed by a team of scientists based in Northern
Ireland
Looks like we will be using coal for a while after the supplies run out. This gives our scientists a bit of extra time to perfect the use of other
energy sources.
I doubt that this will be the most environmentally friendly fuel, but maybe electricity prices will fall during the next couple of years when this
product gets international knowledge and not just european.
These scientists are in the money already as they have a contract worth £154 million to clean up sites in europe.
