British man eats dog in royal fox protest

news.yahoo.com

LONDON (AFP) - A British artist ate a corgi dog, famous for being Queen Elizabeth II's favourite breed, in protest Tuesday after a group including her husband Prince Philip allegedly killed a fox earlier this year.

Mark McGowan, who has previously eaten a swan as part of a performance art show, tucked into the dog alongside Yoko Ono, the widow of ex-Beatle John Lennon, live on a London radio station.

As they don't use corgi's to hunt I don't really see the reasoning behind this one, perhaps he should have eatten a horse or Prince Phillip. That would have got some attention.

The Queen might love her Corgi's, but they are not the nations favourite breed.

I still don't get the big deal about hunting, it's a tradition that goes back hundreds and hundreds of years, it's more to do with fellowship than killing. It's not like they walk in to the woods with a hand gun and start blasting is it!! (Goodbye Mr giant pig!!) maybe if all the hoo ray Henry's stopped hunting and did a spot of off road driving instead...

Hold on what about all that carbon, carbon, carbon, footprints. Seems like theres no fun to be had anywhere these days.

Make a choice people - Kill the planet or Kill a few foxes!!

P.S. I can't stand foxes, one killed my rabbit, Snowball (it was white), when I was little and I really like to bare a grudge

Well, in the Far East, this won't even raise an eyebrow.

Has PETA weighed in on this one, yet?

Ooooh, aaaah!!! I have seen the light. It's obvious now...I am forever shamed to have ever hunted. The sacrifice of a corgi, who probably never hunted a fox, has enlightened me.

What idiocy.
