In Windows Explorer, when I click them, my pictures are opening in Adobe Photoshop Elements, instead of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

Where is the Setting for that, so that I don't have to choose the program each time?

Oh I HATED that! It used to do that to me too, and I never did find the setting. I stripped Photoshop Elements out of my computer instead. I hope somebody can help you with that. Then maybe I can re-install Elements.

Right click on an image, select "open with"....then select "choose program"....highlight "windows picture and fax viewer" and tick the box that says "always use the selected program to open files of this kind"....then click ok.

Thanks, kinglizard.

I don't know why I couldn't think of that.

What I did was uninstall the program and reinstalled it and when I was given a choice of which files PS would open, I added none.

When I originally did the install, I mistakenly clicked all files and that was the problem.

Your solution would have been the easiest, but everything is clicking right now.
