If I'm not mistaken, Fiat is a corporation sub-owned by Ferrari that produces economical practical vehicles. I've never heard of any instance where they've made aircraft.

Fiat were involved in aviation for decades, finally involved in a merger that spawned Aeritalia.

Plenty of info out there for research.

Wasn't saying they weren't involved with Aviation, just saying the only applications that I've heard of Fiat being involved in were in the Automotive industry.

Fiat produced single engined fighters, tri-motor bombers and transport planes during WW2. They also produced the Fiat G.92 fighter in the Sixties and seventies based upon the F-86F Sabre. The built a twin engined turboprop freighter like a smaller version of the C-130 Hercules called the Fiat G.222.
