Is it fair that my mother kicks me out of the house, for no apparent reason, and then lies to my family saying I walked out and that it was all my fault, which in turns pits my entire family against me, including the grandparents, whom are "Extremely angered" with me, who i will be living with during college?

Is it fair that because I want to have fun with friends and be with my girlfriend my last few days in Colorado, that my mom tells me I'm selfish because I won't leave her with a Spotless house?

With that, is it really fair that my mom expects me to spring clean in my last few days here? The last chance I'll get to see any of my friends again for a very long time?

Is it fair that my mom is using all my graduation money from variuous family members, including the $150 my dad sent yesterday, to clean her house? Leaving me with absolutely nothing to leave Colorado with?

I could go on for days, but I should stop here before this post becomes a Novel.

Your mom took YOUR graduation money? That's pretty cold. Is she out of work and not making ends meet? That would be about the only real excuse for something like that.

I don't know your mom or you, or your situation, but from what you've said here, it strikes me that she is pretty abusive and controlling.

I'd be mad if I were you, too. But you are leaving in a little while and it will be over. When you get to your grandparents' you can try to set the record straight. And acting like a model house guest (family or no) will soon help them see the crock your mom sold them.

Good luck!

It's hard to say what is fair and not fair till we hear both sides of the story. She is probably on another forum right his minute talking about her son who doesn't appriciate anything she does, and who messed up her house, and finally drove her to having to kick him out.

There are two sides and deciding what is fair and not fair is hard to do, unless you have them both. However after hearing your story, sympathy can be offered for the current circumstances that you do find yourself in.
