It looks more like the latest in saucepan technology than the future of crime fighting.

But police are confident that this miniature remote- controlled helicopter will be an invaluable weapon in the war against wrongdoers.

The Microdrone, measuring only 2ft between the tips of its eight rotor blades, was originally designed for military reconnaissance.

Nice find!

I saw similar drones, but used in the military.

Only a question of time, when these drones get their guns...

Everytime i see a ridiculous citizen monitering system, it seems like its in Britain. Why are the people in Britain getting bombarded with this? seems like an experiment for America.

I live in Liverpool so wonder how often I'll see this in use.

I might actually keep a record of when and where and see if I can discover, via local FOIA just what it's really being used for.

Sounds another way to spy on us law abiding citizens to me.

Peace,

MGGG

In America we shoot crap like this down.
Too bad you Brits aren't armed. You guys need to overthrow your corrupt government, as much as we do. Only we have the weapons for it.

I'm sure pelting it with a nice big stone or rock would do the trick!

Dude, trust me!

The kids in Liverpool have plenty of weapons to shoot these things down with.

The problem is they'd rather shoot each other over who has possession of the communual brain cell for the day...

Peace,

Yes, well I think it would just be more satisfying to watch the thing explode out of the sky. Hopefully it hits a cop car on the way down.
