Does anyone think that the thrust-augmented wing concept can, will, or should be used on future combat aircraft? There is a little information on this on my forum here but not much in the way of discussing it's future use, only on the failed Rockwell XFV-12 aircraft.

Looks good. I'll have to look more closely at those when I get my referance materials unpacked again.

People found this concept unworkable due to losses because of ducting the airflow. Because of the lessons learned then, it's not likely to be used again.
