The May 17th date for "rapture 2007" came and went. I for one am not discouraged that the renewal of ages did not occur at this date, as the times were just coincidences and not backed up biblically by prophecy. (atheists need not respond to that).

Anyway, I found a juicy little find in my inbox today about a revelation called the "midst prophecy". It was the first I had heard that it existed, although I knew that Jesus little visit had something to do with the middle of a 7 or week and that it meant something. I thank Father for giving this word to others to send it to us as it tells us that the true date for the wrapping up of the first Abrahamic covenant will be March 21, of 2008.

The Midst Prophecy

Jesus died in the exact centre of the First Abrahamic Covenant, the mid point between its inauguration and Armageddon.

Now we know that the 1AC (1st Abrahamic Covenant) started in 1943Nisan, when Abraham Crossed the Euprhates, and that Jesus died and was resurrected in 33 Nisan, precisely Hebrew 1975 years later, so Armageddon is a further 1975 years after Jesus' death, i.e. 2008Nisan.

March 21, 2008 seems like a more accurate date for the sons of God to enter the Kingdom.

Forgive me if this sounds selfish, but at that point in time we will not count the years any more or my body will be dead.

It is much more hopeful for me to find a date I will live to see.

Why would you want to see the rapture "in your lifetime"? If you belive you will go to heaven anyway, why must it be during the rapture...it seems a little elitist, not that there is anything wrong with that. I mean being one of the 144,000 that aren't "left behind" would be sorta uplifting ego wise.

Righto!

Always good to know when were all going to die. So, wehn that date comes and goes, what will the next date be? Will it be the 2012 one or will I need more post-its?

For many reasons. One; it would be the single most important historical event in history, IMO. Two; I have a different perspective of heaven and hell, so what you call a rapture is not what one thinks. This date is rather the unveiling to the world. The rapture is a secret one. Those 144,000 are alive and remain in the world. They meet Christ in the sky figuratively, in spirit, where they start to know him.

What ATS needs is a community calendar where we can post end of the world predictions. Maybe they could even have a rating system like our profiles where members can vote on the likeliness of it happening and color code it between red and green as to what people believe. I am to the point now where , although I would like to see something huge happen regarding the evolution of humanity, I am no longer as excited when I read about them. I just wait and see - whatever will be, will be.

Sounds sexy, hope I'm one of the chosen ones!

Then you'd have pretty much every date filled in from now until eternity, which would render the whole thing rather pointless.

Anyway, I think there are plenty of good reasons to forget about all of that and focus on this life, there are a lot of people in this world who need help and we shouldn't waste our time and energy on things that probably will never happen. In all likelihood you're just going to die like the rest of us, and all of those who came before us, without any major "rapture" type things happening.

Agreed, we should focus on what we can do and help others who can't help themselves and educate them how to become more civilized. It's wrong to just expect some 'higher force' to fix all for you.

......and just how long until us humans do finally figure out how to fix everything and live amongst ourselves peaceably? It hasn't happened yet, and we can't even follow the simple rule of learning from history. We keep doing the same mistakes over and over.

That is the whole point that if God did not want to be involved with us, he would have made everything perfect to begin with and leave us be. Yet, the world is imperfect for a reason so that at a future date humanity can again be one with God. Man will become one with God and woman will at that time become one with man again.

It's free will, this is why we have troubles. If we were sheep, as leaders of today want us to be, we would have eternal peace but also eternal stupidity. So we need to fix our own problems. Let me start with 2 simple: your signature is silly and women are equal to men.

Your words tell me you see the world outwardly which is unfortunate. It is kind of like the blissful ignorance you are trying to avoid, yet you don't see it.

Since you feel my signature is a problem as well as my statement about the woman becoming one with man, I don't suppose you would care to share your understanding of what I meant by both of those? If you don't understand what I meant, why not just ask me rather than thinking you actually understand a word of what I am saying and proceed to discredit it?

I actively enjoy hearing prophecy regarding the Christian rapture. I think that hoping for something is not a bad thing, even though we are often viewed as fools for wanting something to occur in our time when we cannot possibly know when it is going to happen. There really is no way to know when it will happen unless you become like God. A prediction that does not happen means that you are not yet like God.

In this way, it is a sin to make a false prophecy. If you believe in something that does not happen, even if it is on the wrong day, you are in fact telling a lie. The key is that God is the author of prophecy. When we realize his rapture, we find him. WE are just getting closer all the time in my opinion.
