Well that sure looks like a whale to me... but we could all be pretty wrong, It could easily be a hellish furred creature... good luck finding out what the heck that thing really is

The long 'fur' may be the mistaken 'teeth' they funnel plankton through.

I personally think that it is not a whale although the icebergs thing is realistic.
it coud be a dead bear that felli in a river

Why not get a dna sample? If they can i am sure they would, did they? There seems to be enough material for that.

Whatever that is it looks like it's been burned, pretty badly. Whale bodies contain a LOT of fat (blubber) which I spose if it got hot enough would expand & burst out of the skin, causing the 'hair'. My theory is it's a whale which died at sea, floated to the surface & burned under the sun. Also don't forget a dead carcass in water will bloat to many time's it's natural size. This combined with the hot sun and gasses building in the body, would have caused the skin to rupture or 'explode'.

The '4 paws' are merely just globs of bloated blubber.
