Okay, a couple of years back I had an extremely close sighting of a UFO, no more than 120/125 feet away. I know for a fact what I saw was there and not my imagination. So far that's been my only sighting up until now. For the record, no, I don't suffer from schizophrenia or anything similar but I feel this object is actually watching me. As I'm typing this, I've got the chills and am afraid to look out my window. It began last week and has continued since. From my bedroom, I've been seeing the same kind of light in the exact place during the night and it will stay hovering there for 3 hours or so and it just disappears. When I first saw it, I thought it was a star. Then I noticed that this light moves and sways from right to left. What's even more odd is I live in the suburbs. Yes, I do believe in UFOs but I always thought this kind of thing happened in more remote areas. As the title says, what the hell is it?

Interesting..But the question that begs an answer is, why haven't you taken any pictures yet? even better, a video??

Interesting. . .

Well, why dont you set up a video camera to take some vid of it with night vision? I'd at least start there. Otherwise, who knows what it could be.

Remember that your fear is self induced, you are probably alone in a dimly lit room and thinking about nothing but aliens bursting onto the scene and abducting you.
Hook up your webcam and take a video if you dont own a camcorder, also if you have a camera cell phone then take a video and pics.
Get as much evidence as you can.

Uh, no.

I'll have some pictures up tomorrow night.

How does it "just disappear"?
Does it zip off at high speed while you're watching it? Fade out?
Or do you not pay attention to it for a while and then look back and notice it's gone?

And when you notice it "for three hours or so", how high in the sky is it?
Close to the horizon or higher up?

The answers to these two observations are a good place to start. If the light disappears from a low altitude while you're not watching it, it's most likely a planet or star.

Venus and Saturn have been quite bright in the sky lately. The motion also matches that of a celestial body. Atmospheric turbulence and optical illusions can make planets and stars seem to make quite startling moves.

Yoursky is an online planetarium that you can use to locate celestial bodies for any time and location.

Hi there,
Ok i have few questions for u:
1) when u encountered the ufo did u have a "missing time" experiance?
2) when this ufo keeps showing up, does it come and leave at a specifice time (example; 9pm-12am)? u said it stays for 3hrs...
3) u said that u get a "chill down ur spine", do u get it because u know its there? or u get it before it appears?

thanxs

PS: I'm not claiming that i know about ufos or anything, however i did see ufos when i was in high school (twice) and when i saw one i get a chill just the way u discribed it, except it comes before the ufo shows up.

just curious questions...
