No I don't and I bet it won't happen for forces at play will not allow it...neither will they allow my Water Car thread to hit the market.

I am not surprised that someone did not believe it up front and needed to research it.

esecallum... I've been told that it takes a long time to get a public offering to happen. A particular hurdle for Dr. Bussard is how doe you value the offering? Essentially all he has is physics. I'm 100% for pushing this. As has been mentioned earlier, there are tons of people out there with the money and politics to make this go. Richard Branson is my personal #1 pick. Anyone have his email?

yes long time...but you have to make a start someday...

think how much was wasted/invested in the dot.com boom which had nothing substantial...just ideas...

at least this has engineering and science behind it with prototypes.

emailing branson is pointless..i am sure he get thousands every day from kooks...which are vetted and binned by his staff.

what you need to do is make a formal presentation in person with established and recognised people or scientists like Richard Dawkins or Stephen Hawking...etc..etc...

We need to contact nuclear scientists who DONT have a vested interest in hot fusion and who DONT work or are connectd in any way with hot fusion.

it's a well known fact that 99.9% of most scientists over the age of about 25 have brains which have essentially ossified and are not receptive to new ideas.

In other word the neural pathways are set in cement and you can never convince these people.science history is full of these people who tried to impede progress.

what we need is somone under the age of 24 and preferably a student or students who are not connected to hot nuclear fusion but are aware and even skeptical of it's success...

these people need to be recruited.

the six degrees of separation theory can be used to contact them...

what do you think...?

AT this point the clock is ticking loudly. We need to do whatever we can to get Dr. Bussard's name out there everywhere. Branson has a contest for greenhouse gas technology. I signed-up just to get the contact info. I've not yet heard anything. I think your idea also has merit. The key now is to make Dr. Bussard's work ubiquitous.

Hmm does CanDu know about this? im sure they would like to see this in action, and while they couldnt fund the whole thing, i think they'd love to have a stake in the technology.

just think: cold fusion. maybe within our lifetimes.

I think that right now people arent too into this because the coing energy crisis is well... coming. Its not here yet and generally people dont look at the long term enough. i think when EXXON and the oil companies are like " uh sry, guise! sold out! lol" this will get more funding that you can shake a stick at.

Energy crisis: your days are numbered!

CanDu is a good suggestion. I'm unfamiliar with them but have sent an email off to them with the pertinent details. Come on people... six-degrees works. There are people on this board that know people.

This thread is amazing and should be shown to all the people believe that capitalism pushes science forward. Truth is capitalism is greedy and self serving diabolical waste of time and energy. Literally.

The thing that gets me really mad is that WE are told to go green, save energy, re-cycle blah blah, all the onus on us and makes us feel guilty of being horrible plunderers of nature. Oh we have the ability to do all sorts of things - imagine if there wasnt a price tag attached to science...

Well capitalism can push technology forward. But not if it's in conflict with the established industrial/business players. They will, of course, do everything they can to prevent anything from chipping into their obscene profits. So it's left to the rest of us to make it happen. Emerging technologies have a chance. Think eBay, Google, MicroSoft... it can happen.

The established oil company will tell you NO WAY you can do that. The INPUT must be EQUAL to OUTPUT. Law of energy Conservation, bla bla bla.........

and the real problem is majority of American believe in that, they prefer to pay their government good tax so they can war on any country they like. And they like to feed the big company fat, just in case if they work there they can get high salary.

See Kontol... it doesn't matter what most people believe. Yeah, yeah, yeah... conservation of energy, no zero point. We've heard it all before. But classical physics assumes that all components of the natural model have been identified and understood. Most physicists will tell you as a fact that this is not the case. What may appear to be an over-unity system when measured using the classical physics model may, in fact, be nowhere near over-unity because it taps into an energy source that has not been identified or may convert an 'understood' energy source into an as-yet not understood energy state. Given the pace at which physicists are identifying new energy states and systems they openly admit they cannot yet understand, it is arrogant in the extreme to adhere to rules that are based on incomplete knowledge.

Not to mention, who ever suggested Dr. Bussard's system has anything whatsoever to do with over-unity energy? It's a fusion reactor. Read the links.
