A very dear friend of mine has just told me that for the past two years she has been “hearing” strange oscillating tones akin to the sounds of humming and buzzing. These sounds are heard internally, not aurally and describes them as being similar to electric humming. She also said the sounds consist of various lengths, pulses and octaves. She told me that the sounds are mostly un-replicable by the human voice and are sometimes heard in conjunction with the observation of UFOs. She says that these sounds are totally unique and she’s never heard anything like them before. Sometimes, they can be quite disruptive to her. Has anyone ever “heard” anything like this before?

Also keep in mind that it's impossible to hear the direction of electric humming, meaning you could very well think it's coming from inside you. Also the various frequencies could be explained by generators operating at different capacities, on demand. Like if someone turns on a TV on the same grid (meaning your neighbor or someone in the house) it'll change the output in order to supply that additional electric device with power.

Your friend needs to see a physician promptly.

There are a number of syndromes which could explain the symptoms, some of which involve irreversible damage to hearing nerves and systems. There could be other underlying causes which must be addressed, medications, injuries, blood pressure, thyroid, etc. In younger or middle aged women one might consider multiple sclerosis.

This suggest that the person has regular observations with UFO's.

Any pictures to share, with your humble readers ?

Hey Lex,
Unfortunately not...which really bums me out. However, as I am now home. She and I fully plan on hunting for them this summer. Her family land has had several UFO visitations. I'm real excited about the possibilites. As soon as we nail them...ya'll will be the first to know.

i heard something about this before, but it's been such a long time ago that i don't remember. sorry, i wish i could be more help.

I would definitely get some medical attention for that, though. if it's not something paranormal, then it's probably medical. happy hunting.
