I'm hearing that the man was not directly employed by the casino.
But worked at a Nathans Hot Dog Kiosk Place, within the casino itself.

So, he was a Hot Dog vendor. Still haven't heard a name.

Sounds like the perfect decoy to keep security busy watching for suspicious packages rather than someone cheating the casino on the floor, wouldn't you think?

The guy being a hotdog vendor throws things off a bit.

Can't see the guy being of much 'worth' to anyone other than a personal hit.

Also, there is the fact that someone else could have removed the 'package' from the top of the car and been killed instead.

A bit of a risk in itself unless it was put there with a small window of opportunity for someone else to stumble upon it.

Whatever happened to the good ole days when people would just shoot one another? This high-tech age is getting out of hand!

Didthe backpack explode immediately afer he picked it up? Or was there a delay? If there was a delay it was probably acetone peroxide.

I heard it was not backpack but a cup. Like a coffee mug, rigged to blow directed shrapnel on its victim. I will never move a cup off my car again.

Interesting thought.

From what I know about casinos though, I think they'd be too smart for that. If anything this would probably put all the security more on edge. The successful casino swindler can do it casually right under their noses and walk out before anyone is the wiser.
