There was a similar video posted here last week and people didnt know much. Of course, it could have been edited because i cannot beleive this land could possibly have nothing but idiots. I'm part of this land and i know a few things- and I went to MIT in Boston to deliver papers, not to attend there.

Crazy, isnt it??? People just dont care. Those are the same people who go out and VOTE.

Oh...My...God....

That cannot be for real, surely?

Goes to show that people should EARN the right to vote. Thats why we have dumbass leader's in charge, because we have dumbass people voting for them....

I'm thinking its either mind control, they don't want to focus on a terrible event that really happened(they don't want to care),they were brainwashed in school,or they don't need to care.

Alot of people I know don't really care about 9/11, they don't live in new york, and terrorists are not some country they can direct hate twords. Not to mention, the whole event was televised so it didn't even feel real to most people. Those same college students probably don't know when pearl harbor happended or when WWII happened. 9/11 is really just a blip in US history.

Now I'm thinking mind control or something similar through television and/or other media(s).
BTW it could also be hard to remember something that happened almost 6 years ago.
Great now I'm thinking there's a short-term memory conspiracy.

I don't think there is a conspiracy. Just stupid. apathetic people who, as long as they have their MTV, X-box and fatty foods loaded with MSG will happily go along in life without caring about anything important..

I dont know why a college student wouldnt care about 9/11? I think every one, or at least just in the U.S. should know what year it happened.

Im in middle school and i even know it was in 2001, and so does my younger sister who is 11.

We'll never know if the video was edited either. They could have possibly gone through hundreds of people just to find a few really stupid ones(although I bet that was not the case). 9/11 is not on some peoples priority list, we should just accept that.

desensitization at it's finest right here, my friends

Terrific. I think we should EARN the right to vote... because a lot of dumbasses votes and don't know where Iraq or Afghanistan is on a map, then they agree to invade it.... Democracy is not good when it's like this... it's the dumbest reign.

The great "intelligence" of the average American. It never ceases to amaze, does it?

I think people should at least be able to pass a civics test before they are ven allowed to step near a voting booth. that has been my opinion for many, many years.

I agree. They should give people 20 questions to determine if they're rational or not, IMO.
You'd be surprised how many people think Albert Einstein was our first president.

Anyone voting should be tested, but it could very well work against the wannabe president, right? So they dont care if they are rational or have basic horse sense. All they care is to get their vote- no reason behind it, just get the damn vote.

As well as a rationality test, perhaps a quick test with an atlas would help.

First, prove you can find your own country on the map before electing someone to run it.

Secondly, find a country on the map before you think it's a good idea to invade it and start going "Woooo...Yeah....Bomb those A-Rabs..."

Just think how many wars could be avoided.......

Again, that's the great American "intelligence" at work again. Perhaps if they'd actually pick up a book to read rather than concerning themselves with what is going on in the lives of "celebrities," they'd learn something.

The problem there is then who will define who and how you can earn that right.

And anyway don't fight the symptom, fight the decease.

People being ignorant and apathy running rampant is only a symptom.
