Kleverone, where did this happen? Did you find any other info about it? That is definitely scary footage.Really puts things in perspective doesn't it.If they had travelled just a little bit farther down the road.......WOW.Yesterday on msn there was a feature story about a US soldier that was a victim of a road side bomb. He had severe burns to the upper part of his body and lost an arm. The story was so upseting to me. Is it really worth fighting over there?How do these soldiers keep going when they see their friends fall like that.I just can't wrap my brain around it.

I'm not exactly sure where this video was recorded, although I would guess either Iraq or Afaghanastan or some other middle East country.

Scary though, and I'm glad I'm not over there.

I think so, I'm pretty sure they set them right on the edge so the larger Humvee's would be more likely to hit it as opposed to smaller cars. Not the case here

If you were going by the book you should never back out of something like that you should actually drive thru it.

It sounds odd but its in the manual lol me personally i would be reversing even faster than that. Also another reason is so the guy behind can see what's going on ahead pretty self explanatory when an i.e.d could just be ahead.

The reason they road hog is to keep things running and also if someone does not move over then it could signal a potential attack.

In more busy area's it is normal for U.K and U.S vehicles to actually nudge cars and other vehicles out of the way last thing you want is to be stuck in traffic in iraq.
