Knoxville (WVLT) - The District Attorney General of Knox County announced the list of charges facing now five suspects in the double murder of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom.

The District Attorney General Randy Nichols is not saying whether or not he will seek the death penalty, but he does say the state will seek conviction for all charges filed in a 24-page indictment from the Knox County Grand Jury.

Ask yourself, did you hear about this when it happened back in February?

Put this in perspective compared with the so-called Duke rape case. Or Imus calling some people "nappy headed hos". You heard plenty about those cases, right? Sharpton and Jackson made sure it was plastered all over the news and that the alleged perps were crucified in the media. Lives and carreers were destroyed by Sharpton and Jackson.

So where are Al and Jesse on these horrible crimes? Does their silence mean they're OK with what went down?

Their silence is deafening ...

I have heard about it, although there has been very little national coverage.

From what I understand, this was not a random crime -- they knew each other and it was a drug deal or some other criminal transaction gone bad or something. Certainly no excuse, but may explain the apparent lack of media attention.

Some alleged details of this alleged crime:

The accused allegedly car-jacked, then raped Christopher Newsom, cut off his penis, then set him on fire and fatally shot him several times while they forced his girlfriend, Channon Christian, to watch. An even more cruel fate awaited her!

Channon Christian, was beaten and gang-raped in many ways for four days by all of them, while they took turns urinating on her. Then they cut off her breasts and put chemicals in her mouth then murdered her.

Again, compared to the Duke and Imus cases, where is the outrage and condemnation? Where is the national media coverage?
