UFO Abduction/Encounter Log

I have never been abducted or contacted. However, I am very intrigued by the phenomena, and thought it would be prudent to record and log the events as they happen to others. It could be useful to have our own ATS catalog of encounters for reference by our members, especially if this thread were to get Sticky-ed in the forum by the Mods.

If you are abducted or contacted, please report the Time/Date/Location/Details here. Try to keep it brief and in summary form.

Members may also contribute by taking the ATS Extraterrestrial Encounter Survey.

NOTE: I would prefer to limit this thread to LOG ENTRIES ONLY. If you wish to discuss a post from this catalog, please quote it and start a new thread.

I am not a moderator so this will not be enforced per sey; this is simply my own request.

Often, here at ATS, many of our members report their own UFO sightings. In many cases, they are looking for explanations, or just opinions. However, not all know where they can make official reports, or what kind of info may prove helpful. To that end, here’s some information.

The following information would be helpful to know, even when reporting a sighting here on ATS…(not necessary, but the more info the better)

Date of sighting?
Time of sighting (include time zone, am or pm)?
How long did the sighting last?
City, state of sighting (or nation, province, etc.)?
How many other witnesses?
Just lights, or shape discernable?
Color of lights and/or object/s?
Number of lights and/or objects?
Apparent altitude?
Direction of travel?
Apparent brightness?
Path of travel (straight, curved, etc.)?
Any pictures or video?
Any sound?
Any aircraft around?
Can you illustrate what was seen (if no photos, video, etc.)? (even MS paint can be used to illustrate where things were during a sighting, etc.)

It would seem that the majority of people have preconceptions of abduction/encounter stories. Granted, there are some wackos out there, but there are some solid cases too.

All I wanted to do here is build a repository of cases so that we can all pilfer through them and start discussions. Apparently denying ignorance in this way isnt't very welcome by some people here.
