No really I would. not so i could go out and "look for the aliens" but rather for my own peice of mind. For protection.

Call up my mates, tell them watch the news, and so on.

kick back with a few brewske's and watch the entertainment unfold.

We have all thought about this at one time or another: especially after seeing "war of the worlds" im sure. If I knew for sure that the aliens were coming i'd round up every weapon I could find and after that I would straight up find the best place I could find to hole up and set up fort. And basically just wait until either a) the aliens come after me and go out in a blaze of fire and take out as much as I could or b) wait until fellow humans come to me to search out and let me know it's ok. But in all reality I'd be at the frontlines since I'm in the military, even so I'd try to set up a great vantage point and snipe as much as I can until I'm taken out. And hopefully I can get a phone before everything's said and done and warn my family. But in all honesty I damn good and well will fight until my last breath to give my fellow man every last chance we have.

Well good question. If it was a workday i would have to go into work but i reckon everyone would not be doing much and talk about events. Actually i would probably be able to answer quite a few questions if the Ailens turned out to be Nordics, Greys etc having researched quite alot on the issue of UFO's.
If it was a non working day i would go and stay with my Father and watch events unfold together, Cause if things go wrong at least we would be together at the end. But i don't think any ET making First Contact is gonna wipe us off the planet, as ET have been observing us all for a very long time and would have attacked us yonks ago if they were hostile. But then again i could be wrong! Oh and i would text all my friends until the network crashes and exchange messages.

If the only alternative is looting - Then I would rather be onboard one of the ships - and watch all these idiots loot the world.

I would rather be freinds with them, instead start going paranoid and be afraid.

I would stay away from crowds as much as possible - To avoid getting killed by insane people.

I would rather try make contact than join my own speices if they just gonna kill eachother because they are so dumb.

After a couple of years you would all be dead anyway.

And I would come back together with all the people who made the same choice - and we would seed the planet and clean it up.
Anyway - This thread is about hostile aliens I guess.
And that is nonsens.

If it get bad i would get a few close people and head north, way north into canada, find a little stream and live it out.

Other then that we are on a situation based evaluation.

the day they land im getting stuff together to get ready to go. I would look the ATS-recent post page online and refresh it every 10 sec (ill bet ya we would know alot more here then at any channel) if they are hostile : Take al my stuff i set ready at their landing and my dog and move like a maniac to the deepest point i can reach and easely block from sight . I thought of this before and i think the best move would be to keep a low profile for the first days and let the militarys all over the world do their thing. I think when they would attack us they would use same strategy like hitler did something Blitzkrieg like .

And if they were friendly i would distrust them with most of my hearth , i would never harm one!! i would like to talk to one of their scientists about some of our problems like : war,disease,greed,rasism,crime,etc . maybe one day i would trust them but i would always keep in mind that they are the ones who invaded our territory and keep a plan like the above ready "IN CASE OF SCENARIO"

1. store water. (fill the bath, buckets, bottles etc)
2. nip down to shop and grab vitamins canned food etc if available
3. wait for pre-market trading to open and them buy or sell stocks to make my investment portfolio delta neutral (i.e. i won't lose money of the market crashes)
4. switch on tv
5. make contact with friends and family and formulate a plan.

If they landed i would be more worried about how people would react than the actual aliens themselves. The reaction from the general public would realistically be mass chaos on a worldwide scale. Many of the members here could possibly handle such a situation rationally. But alot of other people would see any extraterrestrials as a threat. If they are a threat they could possibly anihiliate us at a mere whim because of their technological superiority. So it would be in our best interest to at first make peaceful contact and share each others intentions. But this is just a best case scenario.

I'd try to convince them to take me w.them.

If I couldnt, I'd be diplomatic & try to get some answers to questions that plague mankind, as well as new technologies.

If they had attacked indiscriminately, id grab the H&K G36 or the AK-47 as well as all the explosives i could fill a big ass vehicle with, curteousy of southern 'redneck riviera' fireworks shops, complete with mortar rounds and such.

I'd take that to the base and have the cronies make bombs out of it, improvised, lol, and try to maim aliens as they walk past. It's a joke. But I would go for the explosives to try to section off an entire area with no access roads, to keep the damn feds out of my hair while me & company were trying to stay alive & defend the 'hood..

I suggest Ernestro Che Guevara's book "Guerrilla Warfare" highly. In it, Guevara explains the tactics used in defeating the Cuban army with only a few hundred Guerrilla fighters. His tactics have been sent down the tube and re-hashed into so many resistance groups today, insurgencies, etc. So I would try to form a Guerrilla column, excuse me, a local militia i mean, hah.

Abductions are no different than what we do to the animals on earth. It is a double edged sword in order for us to advance medically we have to do research and tests on animals, however when they do it to us it is malavent. It is all for scientific research sure it may effect people phycolgically but generally most abductess are physically fine after. On the other hand the poor animals we do tests on usually end up being euthanized.

In the end we are all animals, just because we are smart doesnt make our soul and lives any more important than a dog or chimp. They have feelings and emotions just as we do.

What would happen if the aliens made contact?

I'd turn into a shut-in due to all of the pandemonium that would break out all over the world due to this contact event.

I would have to seriously tackle with such questions as:
'What's the best-tasting cat food?"
"Old newspaper piles -- how high is too high?"
"That squirrel in the yard -- friend or foe?"

And in the mean-time I'd be searching for the quickest off-highway route to an entrance to one of those salt mines under Lake Erie just in case things take a turn for the worse.

Riots? Panic? WHat are you people on? Stop buying into mass media propaganda! Ask yourself, would you go out into the street, rape pillage and riot if there was news of contact with aliens? Or would you stay inside glued to your tv screen?

Agree, even if it does happen I am sure the military and police would be on high alert. So odds are you would be either shot dead or arrested during the riots. People need to grow up and drop the rambo mentality, if aliens want us dead we would of been dead a long time ago. If they have the technology to get here then they have the tech. to eliminate us. Our guns won't do much against a biological weapon which if they wanted us dead thats what they would be using.

i'd do about the same as a lot of you here. watch some tv to get the word and some images. betting there would be some sort of chaos for sure. -- (people act like apes and riot when their home team wins a big one, -- for sure there's going to be rioting)

i bet it would bring people together though. we hadn't talked or met any of our neighbors till a few months ago an explosion went off in our neighborhood, then people came out of the woodwork and came out of their homes and talked and introduced themselves to each other. it was weird and also a very cool thing to happen.

it's a bummer that it took something dramatic in the neighborhood to do this, but it did.

i could also see a lot of global reaction and some facets of religion piping up as well. full disclosure albiet it planned and executed by our government, or EBEs just showing up one day will have a reaction for sure. hopefully a positive one at that.

i think i'd be more scared of a negative reaction in economy than anything else.

Lol good luck against that microscopic virus they will be using. That is if they are aggresive and are trying to eradicate us. Guns won't do much against something you cannot see.
