I agree with the pointless thread thing but, if these people wanted to use democracy they would let themselves become visible (obviously never going to happen, until the final stage maybe
). The true ruling council of the illuminati are no doubt some of the richest people and powerful people in the world. They will gain there funding from the buisness ventures they delve into and companies they own or are yet to own (ever constant globalization).
You put about them using there money for good, this may sound a little deluded on their part but they do think there doing it for the good of the world and basically that there system is the way the world should be run

'they' will never let themselves be know...because once they do, they will be attacked physicaly and that is something that they can not handle. 'they' may seem powerfull, but that is because 'they' attack weakness and work behind the scenes... sorta like a terrorist...
the whole point of 'their' power is that 'they' are and will stay hidden.. one sorta has to admire 'thier' self control...to do all that work and not realize the fruits of what u are doing...how long have 'they' been manipulating but not able to realize 'their' full power..the ones working now are working to put OTHERS into postions of power... so it's sorta like 'they' are all never beens........
that said 'they' will prob silence me for my opinions....hmmmmmmmmmmm

They are funded by themselves (the rich elite) democracy is easily manipulated, and in most cases is an illusion anyway.

Actually you are wrong about China. It is communist. You get your goods from a scattering of what they call SEZ's or economic zones located on the coast. They are an experiment in progress and what goes on their has little to do with the way China actually conducts its affairs. The SEZ's are highly profitable while the rest of the country is in the dark. The majority of Chinese live in rural areas.

China is not capitalist. It is perhaps capitalistic. As the United States is. I don't want to get into an economics discussion here, though. That would be pointless. My point in replying is, in the first, that your "75%" figure is pure blind speculation. In the second, the vast majority of products that carry the sticker "made in China" are in fact made in Taiwan, which China claims as Chinese land, but Taiwan claims as Taiwanese land. Taiwan is generally recognized as an independent country, but the status is by no means secure. Taiwan is, for example, served by China Airlines (not to be confused with mainland China's "Air China" airline), and Mandarin Airlines (not to be confused with mainland China's "Shanghai Airlines").

I won't reply to the rest of this person's post, since they didn't even bother writing it in English. Suffice to say that, as far as I can translate it, it reeks of naive malarkey. Rude malarkey, at that.

Actually you are wrong about China. It is communist.

I don't want to seem partial here so I'll correct this, too. China is most definately not communist. Socialist, perhaps. No nation has ever implemented communism. Nor have they realistically tried to. It's a known fact that it doesn't work in practice, and leaders (like Mao) only claim communist ideals to implement socialism, which equates into power for them and their party.

But I don't like talking about governmental systems. I'll try to refrain in the future.

Most likely they don't require actual 'Funding' from outside sources like you may think. They either own the banks such as the Federal Reserve or control those who do, and can print or aquire whatever money or resources they may need. Money itself is simply a tool and control method that they use but do not require for themselves in the same way you and I require it.

As for Democracy, I have no doubt that they've heard of it, understand it extremely well and use it to their advantage. Remember that one interesting part of the Democratic Process is that the 'Minority' is basically forced to comply and go along for the ride. Sometimes what is made to seem like the minority, isn't. That is of course when an honest process of voting is even done in the first place. In today's Mish Mash Government System we are Not a True Democracy, nor were we supposed to be for that matter. The Democratic System is also not a Pure form of Government. In fact, to say that there is a "Pure form of Government" is really an Oxymoron of a statement.

The hell with democracy.

Have they ever heard of a shotgun? And how about twenty-five million shotguns?

The spirit of resistance is stronger in American blood than in any other; that is how we all came to be here, or how we survived being brought here against our will. We will fight the bastards, and we will win, or die to the last man.

I think we could (if we chose) continue to think of ourselves as warring tribes, but with really cool gadgets and walkin' around cash.

The things that make us different from humans 14,000 years ago are the things we carry around with us and keep in our houses. We still behave in relatively the same way.

I mean, if I'm gonna die for a word... well, you know what my word is.

I could easily picture our society degenerating into clan warfare; it's a pretty common tenet of post-apocalyptic science fiction.

If anyone likes that particular kind of thing, check out Piers Anthony's "Battle Circle"; excellent book, if a bit hard to find.

I could see that happening to us, though... even if we do manage to fight off the NWO threat once the war has started in earnest, that will leave us both without a government and unwilling (or unable) to trust a new one. Thus, we'd wind up something like Dark Ages Europe, running off a heavily localized feudal system... that's my theory, anyway.

Ive actually recieved ads that attempt to buy my vote via spam mail.

Its harder to corrupt a Monarchy than a democracy. The only one who has to keep their eyes open is the monarch

the only defence is weaker government and a populace that is more self sufficent in policing itself, therefore rendering the gov near the point of uselessness.
