Is John Lear Spreading Disinfo?

I dont really know much about john lear but from what i have heard so far uh...i dont believe him. But i have a question..If he has seen the stuff he says he has and if people have really told him the type of info he caims then why is he still alive? If this were true I highly doubt the govt would think twice about killing him (im NOT saying that he should be that would crazy.) I also want to know why is that his supporters whenever he is doubted, bring up how many flight hrs he has or how many times he has been around the world as if that is proof that 1) he is an honest man 2)that he is not crazy and 3) he may be exagerrating. But I think that HE believes what HE says ..he thinks its true but that doesnt really mean that it is,
---> I also find it odd that when some regular joe comes on this board with an out there story he/ she is branded as nuts automaticcally..but for some reason when someone does this to Lear people get all upset and we have to treat him with respect (we should treat everyone with respect but he seems to deserve alot more than others)

i never said i believe in everything john lear says, do i think some of the things he says are possible? of course, i think just about anythings possible.. and no i havn't read any of your posts but i'd be glad to check them out here in a second

Would I consider my self more credible than sleeper and John Lear? Any day. Do I want to make money off of you and lie to you? No. Do I want to ruin any one's day? Never. Do I honestly and truly care about the well-being of Humanity? YES, maybe more than you can imagine. I know what I know is true and it can't be taken away no matter how hard any one tries, because the knowledge, logic, and reason of it is conclusively impeccable

again, show me where john is making money off this..

please understand me man i know where youre coming from i care a great deal about the current state of humanity too we may just not see eye to eye in where we pick and choose to get our information from but this dont give anyone the right to personaly attack someone and shout them out as disinfo agents...

I don't know what the exact composition is. The atmospheric pressure is about like what it is here on earth at about 18,000 feet elevation. You can breathe normally for a little while but you will need supplemental oxygen after a few minutes.

I am not sure what you mean by this question.

One must assume if there is an atmosphere and uneven heating, there is wind.

There is one short segment from one of the Apollo missions which has a film of the flag waving. Some have tried to debunk it by saying it was the astronauts hand moving the flag pole.

Confirmation of the atmosphere on the moon is this photo taken by Lick Observatory (January 17, 1946) of a huge explosion to the north west of Endymion. It has been discussed at length in JLMP:



Arrow no. 1 points to the base of the explosion.
Arrow no. 2 shows how the dust/dirt drifted to the northwest.
Arrow no. 3 shows the column of dust/dirt rising to the top of the atmosphere.

There is a copy of this photo in "Pictorial Guide To The Moon (Third Revised Edition) by Dinsmore Alter.

John, I don't know you at all. I have lurked here a little here and there. I have noticed that you have two kinds of statements. One, the ones that are specifically stated as fact, are what I presume you actually believe?

The rest are just more general and seem to be you just thinking out loud, stoking the fires? I enjoy these as well. Sure, they may be crazy and out there, but they make for interesting thinking.

Disinfo spreader? Don't know you well enough. I have looked into you a little, and have heard your name dropped by a few folks here and there.

Speaking of which...can you point me in the direction of the person who posted the info about Lobsang Rampa on that website? Was that your doing, or one of the other members of that group?

I believe John has mentioned this possibility once or twice... so here we have two official sources that do indeed prove there is an atmosphere on the moon... I guess they must all be crazy too huh?

Other than a scientific illiterate as you, I don't have to go to the moon to find out facts about it! For a start, it's in plain sight a lot of the time. A small telescope + some spectrography equipment (affordable even for private enthusiasts) is all you need to show that there is no breathable atmosphere on the moon.

I think the plan will still work even though I have spoken it alloud now.

Again opinions are free game but for the most part this thread is just wrong. Why such contempt and anger towards someone who has so much to offer us? Even if I thought John was complete looney toons I still wouldnt have a bad thing to say about him that I couldnt also say about myself or 99% of the community here at ATS for that matter.

We are all human and all of us error, the only difference is John actually has something to offer from time to time whilst others offer cheap put downs and sucker punch tactics in their critique of Mr. Lear.

I personaly wouldnt have been able to put up with half the crap hes had to put up with at the hands of threads such as these without leaving and never coming back.

Threads like this really are useless and end up being a beating ground for whoever the thread is named too. For the most part I guess if you can't offer any kind of evidence to disprove any of his opinions then just keep your mouth shut and stear clear of cheap shots because it's one of the lower forms of communication just putting someone down to make yourself feel bigger.

I certainlydid not intend for this to be a "bash John" thread, but just a place to discuss an idea I had. If other people are going to use it to bash him that's not really my fault. In fact, it shows have strongly some people feel about Mr. Lears theories. Anyway, I'm digressing, so I'll shut up now.

I'm sorry if I've upset anyone, but my theory is just as valid as any of Johns. Yes it is a theory and I'm not even being that serious about it, it's only an idea.

Well, that depends on if they are claiming that said atmosphere is breathable. Are you saying that it is?

The government only deals harshly with those who have received classified information after signing NDA's. They don't bother people who are only speculating such as myself.
