My buddy Nick in the Madison, Wi State Capital

Note the strange white "humanoid" figure.

That doesn't even appear to be "in" the image. It looks like it was pasted on the picture afterwards.

Looks like a photo-chop to me.

Well umm To the best of my knowledge mu buddy who uploaded the digitals doesn't have such capabilities but if that's what you believe so be it. I'm not saying its nothing more than a camera glare or whatever. I'm open to all possibilities.

I agree with that assessment.

In fact, I think I recognize the photoshopped element, I just can't remember what its from. I'll search around...

I just rememberd where I recognized it from. It reminds me of Kain from the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver games. It looks just like his character!

lol, thats funny.

Anyways, thats not it. You know....its one of those things where you KNOW that you know it, you just can't place it. Its driving me nuts. As soon as I figure it out I'll try to find a picture of it online and link it. Besides, I somehow don't think we'll be hearing from the op again.

Also, lets consider something that the photoshopper didnt take into consideration-

His "buddy Nick". How tall is Nick? Nick looks like the average kid, right? Lets say that Nick-o is roughly 5'8" or so.

Well, old Nick is standing in front of a bell in the Wisconsin State Capital Building in Madison. To the right of the bell is a plaque memorializing something or other to do with the bell and how it is historically significant, yadda, yadda, yadda. Interestingly enough, this "ghost" is in front of it, or at least above it, meaning that this isn't some far away image, its as close as Nick-o is.

So if we put both of them side by side, you get this:
img53.imageshack.us...

* Nick-o is assumed to be 68 inches tall, and in that picture he is 483 pixels tall.
* The "ghost" is 293 pixels tall.
* At 7.1 pixels per inch, we can deduce that the "ghost" is about 41 inches, or roughly three and a half feet tall.

Apparently, our friend Arnold_OldSchool wants us to believe that midgets are haunting the Capital building

"Is that a smudge brush I see before me?"

Someone needs to learn how to use photoshop BADLY. Someones leg is being pulled here I fear.

It's a very poor attempt at leg pulling at that.

Juvenille attempt.

Well at last proof of existence on the other side and ha ha ha its Robo-Cop!!

This has to be one of the worst attempts I have ever seen. For comical effect it could only be bettered by someone wearing a white sheet with the words "I am a ghost" written on it.

Well i guess I'll have to talk to my buddy and see if he did # with the photo. Sorry to waste your time boys.

Hmm, the title of the thread 'A possible Ghost picture I took last week' yet nick is the person responsible.... Interesting.

It would appear that the Wisconsin State Capital building is being haunted by a very small, very smudged ninja.

I am not saying that the OP is intentionally attempting to post a hoax image. I am, however, assuming that the OP may be a bit gullible; a fact his friend seems to know.

Regardless, thank you for the submission to the Paranormal Forum (assuming this is not an intentional hoax).

He said that he took them and his 'buddy Nick' uploaded them.

I am not defending the validity of the image. I am however, defending the OPs story of the photo's origin.

Misunderstandings like this could get an innocent poster warned and/or banned.

Out of curiousity, which information is the Photoshop tag? I may be missing something obvious and would like to know what it is.

Thank you

There are actually a coupe of Adobe PhotoShop tags in there. the 14th one up from the bottom, the 3rd 6th and 7th ones down from the top.

There are other interesting tags in there as well that don't usually show up... I'm bnot sure what they are, but there are some guys here at ATS that could give insight into this. I remember back on an olf UFO photo thread that one of those anomalous tags turned out to be evidence of a filter applied to the image.

If he gave this to his buddy, then his buddy could have been the one that possibly tampered with it. Guess I shouldn't blame the Op immediately. But one thing is for sure, this image went through PhotoShop at least once before it made it here to ATS.

EDIT: I have summoned an EXIF pro to the thread to give his analysis of the tags. Hopefully he will drop by soon.

EDIT: Fixed should to shouldn't

Well, he did say that he took the photo but his buddy uploaded the image. So the OP may only be guilty of being gullible.

Also, keep in mind that it may have gone through photoshop to be resized. Unless the tags show therwise it could always be somethign as simple as that.
