japan breaks internet speed record

A grupe of researchers using modified protocols got data to send at 9.08 GBPS ( Giga Bytes Per Second ) on a 20,000 mile path breaking the record for fastest internet speed , they also plan to build a network with a capasity of 100 GBPS, which is way faster than average american broadband, at 9.08 GBPS its about 3000 times faster.
