Any fencers out there?

I've been taking fencing classes the past couple of months and am having a blast. I haven't moved beyond the foil yet, but that's ok since I'm not very good at it yet anyway. It's amazing how lightning quick the action proceeds, and how quick you need to think. Any other fencers out there? Has anyone participated in a fencing tournament?

I used to judge fencing matches in High School.

I have to admit that I wasn't that involved in the sport, and I only picked up a foil to help a few friends practice. But I loved the sport, I just wasn't very good.

Not many students went into fencing as an extracurricular activity, but I got more out of it than anyone will ever know.
