This is food for thought for those of you posting dots and blotches as alien spacecraft or giant thingys on the Mars/Moon surface...or maybe it's just something fun.

If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, the dots will remain only one color, pink.

However if you stare at the black "+" in the center, the moving dot turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black "+" in the center of the picture.
After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear.

Hence, we don't always see what we think we see. Maybe there is no image there at all.

i've read somewhere that our eyes take in 2 million pieces of info a second, but our brain can only process 2000. Something to that effect, but it goes to show that there is alot that we dont see. Billy, you ever think about changing your name??

Why, I like to stir up controversy.

Besides, who would believe I am really him when I speak rationally?

This is what I have been saying all along. People get all excited about a video of a little blurry dot in the sky as if they have any clue what it is. I'm tired of seeing new pics and videos of "UFOs" that are not recognizable as anything, not even when zoomed in...

Down The Rabbit Hole - Quantum Physics , suggests we create our own worlds ( I'm mentioning this because this film is where I heard about the amount of information our eyes receive and our brain decodes - Scary! ) So who's to say all these lights , ship etc , some of which I have seen myself lol , are not created from our own minds ; or are just out of our brain decoding limits, but just squeak in there occasionally for the odd person - which may be why there aren't that many mass sightings (please correct me if I'm wrong) .
Maybe until we acheive consciousness as a whole we won't be able tro see what's right under our noses .

Love the visual btw!!
Yes, I have seen a ufo, but to me it remains exactly that, Unexplained. It was like nothing else I have seen before or since, and I have no blurry photo`s to prove it. Three of us all saw and heard the same thing, and there are NUMEROUS AF bases, American and English(!) in the area, so we were all used to many types of airplanes above us a lot of the time.
Also, I am aware of the effect Mrbenn described too, and it is a fact that we cannot measure(perceive?) ANYTHING without altering it somehow. That holds more poignance for me in relation to choices i.e. decisions about what I am seeing. [genoCIDE, pestiCIDE, deCIDE---To kill choice? not sure about the etymology(sp.?)]
So yes, skepticism is healthy. I still, 10 yrs later, have not shut that door in the corridors of my mind...

Interesting....meshes well with my own theories. Described in a nutshell here.

This was posted more for fun than anything political on the subject, though it definitely applies.
