Nothing conclusive, just several spheres on an image of the northern lights. I'm fairly certain they're not lens obstructions, because I made sure that the lens was clean before I took the pictures. It wasn't raining that night.

What do you think?

These orbs are merely clusters of water in the atmosphere. Err.. fog.
Sorry, no UFOs, IFOs.

Hmm, odd. I've never heard of that before. I'll have to do some looking around.

Can you provide some examples or evidence of water in the atmosphere appearing in clusters ie: NOT RAIN
Drexon? I just haven't seen this in pictures before, interesting.

yes, very interesting theory of water in the atmosphere. please provide some data to include if possible photographic evidence or simply just data to back up this theory? I am unaware of this phenomenon being photographed like this especially fog none the less. but anything is possible and I would feel grateful to be educated on atmospheric anomalies such as fog showing up like blobs. In my own opinion with no scientific proof to back up my claims. I beleive that these might be simply bugs caught out of focus or maybe bats feeding at nite out of focus also. this is just speculation though or maybe some unexplained phenomenen that we cannot explain therefore being awareded the coveted UFO title considering it really is an Unidentified Flying Object. Just my two cents.

My guess would have been water on the lens, but I dont understand why the one sphere is yellow/orange

Yea you know it almost looks like developing solution (old school style) that got onto the print.

These photos were taken with a digital camera, so they aren't prints. They were taken with a 30 second shutter, so any animals or bugs would not have appeared as blobs, they would have been streaks at best.

I'm fairly certain there was no water on the lens, because A) it wasn't raining, and B) the few other shots I took did not have these "blobs" on them.
