The Bible Code has been disproved, and quite easily, numerous times. The computer program used to search the Bible has been recreated by skeptics and has been used on many secular sources, including the lyric booklet of Vanilla Ice (if memory serves correctly, if not him, then another similar one-hit wonder kind of star). Guess what? All of them had "predictions" of 9/11, Hitler, natural disasters, political events, and so on. You may be willing to claim that God works through every single piece of writing in the history of the world ever, but it's obviously just a statistical thing. Given so much to work with, either from the bible or a novel, it's basically impossible *not* to find "predictions" of world events with somewhat startling specifics.

And remember, I say "predictions" with quotes because the bible code has never predicted anything, it's all in retrospect, we type in the key words and then go filling in the blanks with whatever words and phrases we find that seemingly relate to events that have already happened. The code has never and will never predict anything with a greater accuracy than chance allows.

I don't know where you got your information, but you obviously haven't read very far. Again, Jonathan Gray provides quotes of the various studies and references that can be easily verified.

There are a lot of claims about the Bible Code that were not from the discoverers, and other claims like yours above that have no basis in fact!

"The code was discovered in 1994 by Dr Eliyahu Rips, a world expert mathematician in quantum physics. It was later confirmed by renowned mathematicians at Yaale, Harvard and Hebrew University and replicated by a senior code-breaker " at the US Dept. Defence.

Investigative reporter Michael Drosnin tried to cash in on the discovery and attempted to use the code to predict the future. as you correctly stated, THIS was flawed.

Dr Jeffrey satinover wrote a book: "The Truth behind the Bible Code" reporting on the attempts by critics to debunk the code (London, sedgwick and Jackson, 1997). Maybe you should read it.

Given that the bible is a series of interpretations of several earlier events written by men and not actually written by (I guess people get to choose what their deity is called, but I stick to a classic) "god", using it as a frame of reference to disprove the existence of extraterrestrial life forms is akin to me holding up a copy of - say - Jeffry Archers "First Among Equals" or Douglas Adams "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and saying the same thing. Its baseless.

(If you are basing your entire life on the contents of a book then please don't ever go out and buy Silence of the Lambs, because the world doesn't need another serial killer!)

However (I digressed a bit there), no where in the bible does it say that aliens don't exist. Oh it might allude that we were created "in gods image", but that doesn't decry the possibility that such creatures exist elsewhere. But anyway, just what is "gods image" because central asian, oriental asian, caucasian, black, aboriginal, eskimo and indian are all kind of different. I assume it means that "god" has two eyes, two ears a nose, a mouth, walked upright and had two arms and two legs - but thats about all you can take from it without "god" stirring up all kinds of racial tensions.

And anyway, man may have been created in "gods image" but "god" may have chosen to create other intelligent life forms elsewhere in someone/something else's image. Again, the bible doesn't mention this, but then again it doesn't mention airplanes, A-Bombs or the internet, all of which plainly do exist.

You see, if the bible is the "creators" end user manual (so to speak) its only going to be relevant to this product. You don't buy a Sony TV and expect instructions for a Hitachi one do you? Likewise, the "Earth" bible will only contain information viable for here, and may indeed be totally different that the "Unbangwa 3" Bible of that planet inhabited by intelligent cat-like creatures near to Epsilon Randi.

Remember when War Of The Worlds by Hg Wells was broadcasted on the radio and everyone who heard it panicked and went nuts. I believe also that's why ET's are being kept a secret. Disclosure will come when it's time and people are really ready. ( Really, really ready.)
As for the bible, it needs a warning label on it just like everything else.

Read a bit more my friend. The Bible code was investigated early 90's and almost any thing can be gleaned from it if you look hard enough. There is no proof of God or anything there. Do you really think God placed a message in English in translated texts written over 100's of years over 2000 years ago by various people in various languages, dialects, not to mention the many mistakes in direct translation to English?. Even since the 1st translation to English commissioned by King James the English language has changed considerably. Not convinced.

I think the terminology is the problem. I'm a christian, but I believe that when God created the angels (other beings), that some of these became good ETs and some became bad ETs. The bad ones are stuck with us in this dimension and employ technology to mimic acts of God. They inhabit other planets in and out of our solar system. The good ones, can travel inter-dimensionally, are not relegated to this physical dimension, but can interact with and take on corporeal form (flesh appearance), at will.

I also believe that some of these bad ETs are the real, original inhabitants of this planet and that humans (homo sapiens), were not from here originally. When we were kicked out of the Garden of Eden and the gates locked behind us, I believe we were kicked out of a paradise on another planet. This planet, belongs to the Reptilians (well, not anymore, actually, but that's a different story). I have a great big theory on how all that transpired based on biblical, sumerian-akkadian, egyptian, hindu and babylonian texts, as well as a few scientific theories, a couple dozen military, scientific and government PDF files, relics, artifacts, and photographs, which support my theories to various degrees.

So, ETs, in the sense of "they ain't human", are here already and have been for thousands of years.

Well thanks. I just didn't want it to appear as if christians, across the board, don't believe in ETs. I read a fascinating book, years ago, called "God's Plan for Man." In it, the author, who was a christian and bible scholar, explained that in the time before humans on this planet, this chunk of rock belonged to the Angels. He didn't describe which type of angels, but he used biblical texts to prove his point.

Later, this was further supported when I read a paper by Michael Heiser (another christian, this time a scholar of the ancient languages), in which he describes the word "Serpent" in the book of Genesis to be "Seraph" in the original language and that it was not a snake but an upright, bipedal, reptilian looking angelic being. This was even further supported when I went in search of artifacts from one of the earliest sumerian cities (Eridu) and found the only statue available from that city was of a Reptilian holding what appears to be a royal scepter. And that was just the beginning of my discoveries on this topic. In fact, his appearance matches, almost word for word, the biblical description of Satan, as being covered with precious gems, and so on. It's also noteworthy that all of ancient sumer was also called Eden or Edin in that time frame.

Actually, no, that's not one of the teachings. Angels, yes, Jesus, no. Jesus is not supposed to return to the planet surface till certain prophetical events take place, which haven't, cause if'n they had, you'd know it..

Ive said the same thing about the bible. A made up crock from the minds of seriosuly delusional middle easterners out in the sun to long.

Anywho, i don't buy the occult-alien theory. Jaques Vallee, and John Keel, while both ad odds on alot of other things, tend to preddle this theory as the answer for all the UFO phenomenon. Its far more complex than that.

I think there are a number of UFO experiences that are improperly classified as such and are more likely to be occult experiences.

However, there too many UFO reports and cases where the occult explaination would be ludicris.

The only accounts of aliens spreading New Age philosophy are from contactees, who tales are really subjective.

On the other hand, the more interesting alien contact accounts show a totally different being: a cold, methodical, neutral being not spreading occult wisdom, but abducting humans and performing weird experiments on them, as well as onserving and studying Earth with detatchment.

The term "fossil fuel" does not mean that it is solely derived from the bones of dinosaurs. Most fossi fuels are compressed remains and by products of carbon rich materials such as rainforests and decayed vegetation, as well as animals and insects thay may have inhabited the area.

Given that dinosaurs were such diverse creatures and existed all over the globe, this particular argument is a fallacy.

It was more of a 'cross analysis' was my position, but yes dinosaurs they existed everywhere because panagea, was whole during that time.My perspective is that there are "many different forms of humans," out there and we will embrace that fact when the willing are ready.

So basically, the book is a denial of one arbitrary mythological belief system in favor of another. Meme war. Not interesting, save for the way it shows how human belief systems fight one another.

I don't think anyone really knows what those things are. Neither priests nor scientists, nor occultists. But we can all cling to our mythologies if it makes us feel better.

Correct, each perspective is a jewel of existance.To deny ones perspective here denies life elsewhere.Each perspective is form to live in.Each has as much credit for living then the other.Potential exists everywhere.
