Near-OOBE? Or just hallucination?

The other day I was having some unplesant dental work done and was put on nitrous oxide (laughing gas). My eyes were shut tight and I was very loopy( dizzy tingly and possibly stoned). Then I could see. As in, I saw the dentist working. I wonder if this was nearly an OOBE, or was I merley high/stoned?

well, im not that advanced in terms, of, uh, anything, but i have a possible answer. this could be one of three things: 1-you were just high, and you imagined seeing the dentist work. 2-you fell asleep quickly as a small side effect of the anisthetic, and quickly dreamt of seeing the doctor work (which ive done, but not neccesarily at the dentist). or 3- you were in fact able to see through your eyelids by some odd coincidental occurance. i would prefer not to watch when the doc drills my jaw. either way, i wanna try the bud you smoke. take what you will from what ive said, and i hope it helped.
