Lets just hope it's not in the breaking news forum announcing some bad news.

Happy new year all.

It's already 2004 in like half the world, you know.

If you mean Eastern time, it won't be me. I'll either be drunkenly careening around the apartment or gettin' my f-uck on. Or maybe both.
Now where's my vodka? It's time to get stupid.

By virtue of this post I am the first person posting at midday on New Years Day where I am which means there are still another 31 hours or so of New Years Day hours for folk somewhere to post in.

Time zones are gonna fu... SCREW up the whole thing... as I'm writing this, it says "1-1-04 @ 1:51 AM" on the ATS header.

So I guess I lose.

Damn.

Do yourself a small favor.

Look at where the International Date Line runs through the Pacific.

Get a time zone chart/map.

Familiarise yourself with the power shift that is happening to the southern hemisphere, and how the USA is contributing to that at breackneck speed.

Happy New Year to you too!

Using the Board's GMT reference makes sense, in that case, it would be: Psiohazard A rather nice tribute to 2003 that the first post of 2004 is from someone with a warning.
