They're mostly comprised of a single family? Then there has to be rampant inbreeding within this group. This is just disgusting. If i were there i don't think i could resist the urge to take action

Just don't pay any attention to them and be glad of the fact that there's a nice place waiting for them when they leave this world.

Peace

Westboro "Baptist Church" is going to protest the funerals of the thirty two victims of the massacre. Westboro has caused nothing but trouble since they protested the funerals of the twelve Sago Miners back in Janurary of 2006. When the West Virginia State Police, Buckhannon Police, and the Upshur County Sheriffs found ou, they called up some 'backup.' Right after Westboro announced that they would be at the funerals, the Patriot Guard Riders decide to lend them some help. This did not surprise me because most officers around here were in the military at one time.

According to the Patriot Guard's website, they will go to Blacksburg to deter the doings of the church members. They will be there if invited by the victims families because a couple of the victims were part of the Virginia Tech ROTC Program.

Let's just hope that the Patriot Guard accepts the invite for the sake of the City of Blacksburg, Blacksburg Police, Va. Tech Campus Police, and the victim's families.

Am I a bad person for wanting these zealots to be killed? I seriously would be happier if I heard the whole Phelps crew drove their bus off a cliff and died in a crash. I would have never thought I would think that but these parasites go to far and if I was a family member or even lived in the area I would do something against them with no regard for them being lawyers or whatever it wouldn't matter they wouldn't get the chance to sue!

This is a new development that came to my attention by email.

I beleive that this will set a precedent that just might cool the jets of these villians who have used the law and the name of God to further their misanthropic agenda.

A federal judge in Baltimore is ordering Topeka's Westboro Baptist Church to pay more than $3,000 in costs related to the funeral of a Marine the group picketed.

The lawsuit was filed in June. It says church members violated
the family's right to privacy and defamed the Marine and his family
at the funeral and on the church's Web site.

Yes it appears so, the end result is more bad laws. This COINTELPRO church is obviously defaming Christianity in general, promoting by the antithesis what it so called dislikes. Meanwhile the MKULTRA mind control program to bloat further government through bad laws continues by remembrance of its Manchurian Candidate patsy, while covering up what really happened.

All of this is speculation, but based on prior events such as Columbine that only happen when democrats are in power.

To be honest whoever these sick people are they deserve all they get. I hope the police see sense to keep that scum away from the funerals seems like they like to stir up trouble and if they do I hope it comes right back at them in spades. I'd be happy to put my English fists an connect them in a few sensitive places on some of that lot's anatomy. Would be the kind of pain that feels good after hitting them evil

WTF is wrong with this "church" believe me, in this case, i use the word church loosely because this group of people stand for everything against what is right in this world.
It is one thing to protest the War in Iraq but to do it the way they do it and now to apply it to this sad event, reminds me more of the Satanic Church than it does of a Christian Church.

It really isn't the war in Iraq they are protesting. It's the "don't ask; don't tell" policy of homosexuals in the military that they are protesting.

They choose the venue of the funerals of the returning war dead to emphasize what they deem to be the wrath of God for the policy.

They seem not to have noted that Americans have been killed in battle in every conflict prior to the advent of "don't ask; don't tell" during the Clinton administration.

They also have failed to note that even without "don't ask; don't tell," homosexuals have served in the American military since the Revolutionary War.

Oh ok, my bad.
Thank you for that information, I had no idea but it doesnt change what i think of them, they are scum pure and simple imo.
I do of course, support their right to protest but there are ways to go about getting your point across other than the way they do it.
It just doesnt make any sense for them to make signs that say, for example, "thank god for dead soldiers" and so on.
worthless.

Grady: Dont forget people have been dying long before the crusades. If people are dying because they are not following gods word then what about the crusaders who were WIPED OUT OF EXISTANCE? These people are ABSOLUTE DUMB (self censored)'s who could not find their rear with both hands. Yeesh, their own teaching are absolute BULL because just look into the history of war like others have said. Let alone look back to the pre-medieval bible and you will see homosexuals were ACCEPTED till the pope decided otherwise.

I'm not sure that I can agree with this as the Old Testament addresses the consequences of homosexuality quite vividly in the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.

"Don't ask; don't tell" is a really bad policy in that it seems to anger almost everyone, but the military, as it had done on many occasions before, has come to terms with it and seems not to be suffering as a result.

In essence, "don't ask; don't tell" had change only one thing and that is the witch hunts which probably did more to hurt morale than to strengthen it, if the truth were known.

It should be noted that just because "don't ask; don't tell" prevails doesn't mean that the military is accepting of homosexual behavior, because it is not.

This is the aspect of "don't ask; don't tell" that angers homosexuals.

Does anyone get the point? Both the V-Tech operation, and the so called Church operations are very likely black psyops and more propaganda diversion. Read the history of this so called church, how it has undermined normal first amendment rights by inducing more legislation.

Are many of us too obviously stuck on the receiving side of this propaganda, the controlled message itself? Look more deeply, because whatever you see in MSM is very forcefully presented and attaches itself to complimentary dark agenda profiles, worse case scenarios without the preventative aspect.

How many times does anyone have to deny ignorance asking questions to at least attempt to view more deeply than outward appearances, and obvious emotional Pavlovian reflexes? As it is the emotions are already clouding the obvious theme of this is how people obey authority, the interlocutor carries out the motivator when they lose their lives for nothing. One is an unauthorized motivator the brainwashed, the other authorizes itself and uses every blackmail and subterfuge at every level of government. It is all about a long term position that keeps repeating itself.

And how many of us here are captives to the superficial, and far too often?

These people really piss me off. Their arguements dont even make sense. The documentary someone posted on page one was great! When he tries to point out the faulty logic of their arguements and beliefs they just change the subject or become loud and defensive. Typical cult behavior.

I feel sorry for the kids, they are getting brainwashed, that 21 year old girl, seemed like a real nice person, that had been brainwashed to the MAX, from childhood, her beliefs didnt make sense, and she seemed so lost and sad inside, with her fake smiles.

She looked confused with her beliefs but kept believing no matter what the guy said, you could tell the guy tried to talk more with her than anyone else, because she seemed like the nicest, even thou she said some evil things.

That old guy, he was the worst, so RUDE, he was so defensive like he had something to hide, or knew he was in the wrong. He was afriad of the mans questions.

Good documentry. Opens your mind to how people can end up like suicide bombers. or other crazy things.

Won't be surprised if they have to attend a funeral for a Phelps in the future. Somewhere along the line, someone's going to snap.

Go out and protest government, laws, bills, whatever have you. Protest the funerals of people who did nothing other than live their lives? That is sick and twisted. Truely it is. The government will bash the brains out of those who protest them, yet when it comes to something like this they do not even care.

^^One of the most hated families in America^^

There is no decency in some people, at all. Those who fight for the government and die for them are my enemy and all I can say is: "one less." Yet there is no honor in doing such things as the VA tech protest nor heckling funerals. There are more important things to do in life. Sick (self censored) pricks. I would not blame anyone for teaming up with a crowd and rushing those "protestors" with baseball bats.

what a video !!!!!!!!!! everyone should see this ! this is what happens when
minds snap and are allowed to raise children . sad state of affairs.

Wow I watched the whole video and I cant believe they can live life like that its like there under some spell...people like really hate them and they just justify what there doing by saying everybody but them are going to hell.....why for this reason do they think they were chosen to make such remarks and protest things that do not concern them?....and that 21 year old girl really looked unhappy even though she was smiling you can tell if she had the chance to just run away and live her own life and never have to see them again she would. She just seemed so fake about the whole thing the whole time.... I feel sorry for the kids and young adults that are being brainwashed by these people.... I think the pastor had a lot of angry issues and if you dont agree with him your going to hell....he just seemed like a person that wanted all control and thats what he has over his church.

Been fairly busy all weekend and maybe I missed it somewhere in the discussion on the last couple pages, but will all of the VT funerals be on the same day? Will they happen one by one? When will the funeral/funerals happen?

I'm curious to see/hear the official media response to this, and as i'm sure all of us are - curious to see the reaction of locals if this "church" does in fact show up. Getting together a bunch of hateful ultra extreme right wingers (if they even can be placed on the political spectrum) and placing them in what will be one of the most publicized and most heard about funerals in recent history will definately make for a media story, regardless if anything rash happens. Then the families, and the public, will get to hear about it time and time again in the coming weeks, if anything does, or even doesn't, happen...
