Why don't we get off of Lindsey's back?

Lindsey Lohan(my daughters fav.) is getting a lot of press from her partying. WHY? She 20 going on 21 this summer and is only doing what regular kids her age do. I was down on her myself until I reflected on what it was to be that age and compared to some, myself included, she's a saint. 20 and in rehab? PLEASE! Is it because she's in the spotlight? C'mon, give it up. She's just a kid being a kid.

good point. but when i was 20/21 i wasn't in and out of rehab or running around wearing skirts without undies on.or kicking it with someone in a porn tape haha
she has to realize wether she likes it or not she has a bunch of girls idolizing her and thinking shes a goddess or something. it really sucks how when you are younger you think your invincible and of course the media wants to get on her butt about it.it's what they do! everyone has a choice and can say no haha i know it sounds cheesy but it's true. shes just trying to fit in with the whole hollywood scene. and yeah the media likes to prey on that fact. but she could also possibly tone her ways down maybe stick to partying at home i mean damn she CAN afford it.why get yourself caught up do coke in your mansion and stuff. homegirl likes the attention!

people always use that excuse but your young its what young people do. maybe that thought is why teenagers do what they do. since it's "normal" i mean what IS normal anyway.


i do like some of her movies myself but think shes a dumbass but hey i dontknow her personally just what the media portrays her as. but i find myself reading interviews and such with her in it and i just shake my head.shes so vapid sounding. i mean there's nothing wrong with partying in your young days even your older days
but i think there could be a limit. i mean yeah shes a young , rich , supposedly "hot" girl but damn use your head lady.

Lohan crash linked to drugs
Lindsay Lohan was arrested and cited for driving under the influence in Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police also say they found a substance tentatively identified as "a usable amount of coc aine" in connection with the accident, according to website People.com.

The 20-year-old actress was with two other people in the vehicle when her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible struck a curb and shrub on Sunset Boulevard in California.

Looks like she may be joining Paris in the clink.

Don't know about you intrepid, but don't you think that a coc aine addict should be in rehab? You know do that she has been caught sniffing coc aine. You think a coc aine addict who drinks and drives is a saint?

If it was anyone of us joe publics we'd be in the can by now plus the 18+ year olds would be looking at a lengthy jail sentence.

Ahh see what we have to realize is that this girl is just like any other her age, The difference being she has the money and the friends who can influence her and the happy dealer who gets this girls money,

Makes me wonder how many other girls would be in rehab if they had the means to, Most just don't get the chance to go,

I don't think Intrepid is saying its right or OK, what lohan is doing, But more that its not unusual, and most teens grow out of it,

If a spot light was on half of us all our life i wonder what head lines we would have made?

Not saying all but i believe a major percent would have been shipped of to rehab or some other place,

I'll go along with Intrepid on this. People need to get off her back, and leave her the hell alone. She'll either get it together, or she, unfortunately, won't. She doesn't need papa"rats"si's following her around like a pack of wolves after a fawn. America's, and the rest of the worlds, insatiable appetite for drama and gossip leads to much of this. Not all, maybe not even most, but a goodly portion.

You can lay most of the blame on her parents or their absence...

I don't know what the draw is of these personality's lifestyles. Personally, I couldn't care less what any of these celebrities do. However, it seems to be an area of major interest to a whole lot of people.

I have a hard time feeling bad for her when she admits that she wants to be noticed and have people talking about her. She has admitted to doing things simply to make headlines. She chose to be a celebrity, knowing full well what comes with it. Young girls look to her as a role model and she does not act like one. She calls in "sick" to work, affecting everyone else on set, she uses a fake ID and her status to illegally drink, she does drugs, drives under the influence and puts herself and others in danger by doing so. Her irresponsible behavior should be publicized in a way that it is an example to kids to NOT do those things. I'm sorry but the "she's just being a kid" excuse does not fly when these kids choose life in the spotlight.

I think if she's setting a bad example for young girls, and boys for that matter, then all the negative press is a good thing. They have a responsibility whether they want it or not, that's the price of fame.

Driving around all coked up and UDI an all that, shhheeeshhh, It's all well and good till it's your kid lying in the road with their head all smashed in and their brains all up the fender.

Ho Ho Ho who's laughing now then funny boy? That's directed at everyone who says "She's just being a kid!"

She is an adult, not a kid. She should have the good sence to get wasted in a safe place - killing yourself is one thing, and more freaking idiots like her should just get on with it, but there's no reason to endanger anyone else at the same time.
