Yes I should have said "one of the biggest" unfortunately none of my edits are taking recently which is becoming irritating now.

I am off to ask for some advice.

According to Wiki there are other moons in our Solar System that are tidally locked. Pluto (recently downgraded from planetary status) and its mate Charon, for instance, are tidally locked.

Do we believe that Phobos and Diemos (Mars) are also? Can we prove it?

HORSE GIVER You makde the best sense i ever heard from anyone else your thoughts tally with mine There are as you say no real terrain of the moon thats why they never took any land scpe pics and also why telescopes can only get to a certain resolution then it blurrs... no detail is there to really focus on is there! there are also pats of the moon that are opaque ans the subsoil or real terrain and artifacts can be seen through these opaque parts i have seen whats underneath including a statue of an alien grey more like a doll it looked you have to learn to look futher than the surface and disregard the superstructure parts are see through you also need to get very close in asing atelescope and digital camera and when the moon is bright , i come to my own conclusion that the moons also smaller and closer to the earth than we have been told because of the size of some of the artificial artifacts i have seen below the opaque parts its incredible and fantastic i believe from my observations that its those almond eyed beings that are in the moon even somes i have seen bear a resemblance to their faces that i have seen.

But, where have I heard this before? Yes, I know, it was in a book called ‘A Course in Spiritual Philosophy’ by Amanda Valiant, and the relevant text reads:

“Only Earth men are warlike at the present time. The inhabitants of the other planets, although they have warred in the distant past, are now all peaceable.

Earth, the punishment planet, is the odd one out and, for the student’s interest, here is a list of all the inhabited planets in the entire universe: Yolland Allicay, Fos, Sol, Coul, Bos, Tet, Earth, Moon.

Yollond Allicay, known as the reward planet, is in the same solar system as Fos. Sol and Coul are in a different solar system in another galaxy. Bos and Tet are in a third solar system in a further galaxy. Earth is the only human-inhabited planet in its solar system and its galaxy.

The Moon is a unique case. Some of the evidence brought back to Earth by the spacemen sent to investigate it has been deliberately suppressed by governments because they found out that there were men already there.

The Moon is inhabited on the inside by about 200 men. There is a man-made covering around the moon which is several kilometres deep in order to protect the inhabitants from meteoric bombardment. It was guided to its present position about ten thousand years ago.

The Moon men are tall and very pale faced. As they live right inside the moon, they are constantly in artificial light. Their eyes take on a pinkish hue because of their unnatural lighting conditions. Their spaceships are kept inside the moon. Why do people fill up these discussions with so much nonsense? There are of course anomalies regarding our moon.Perhaps some of these anomalies actually support our current 'best model' for it's creation.It could well be that its synchronous orbit comes as a direct result of its being a part of proto-earths collision with another body. This explains tidal locking.Also perhaps the moons surface composition of high concentrations of titaneum etc are a direct result of continous meteor and micro meteor bombardment for over 5 billion years with no surface erosion like the earth's.This could also explain why moon rocks are significantly older.Perhaps most or all of the moons in the solar system are 'captured' unlike the earths this would explain their unsynchronous orbits. Regards the 'booming' on the moon when the booster was dropped in an attempt to determine its composition by seismograph this too happens on the earth when similar experiments are conducted, only on a different scale.The moons centre of gravity is offset, closer to earth than the centre of its mass this too supports it having always been there.The other mysteries ie, ufo's moonbases towers etc, who knows?

AWWWW C'MONNN WHAT THE FU*K,,, you people need to lay off the space cakes and magic mushrooms. just because you read this stuff in a book does not make it true or real, infact did any of you check the rating on your book to see if it says "fictional" or "Sci-Fi"?

Have a look at 'Who Built the Moon?' by Christopher Knight and Alan Butler.

Their conclusion of the book is that life on earth could not have happened without the moon and that the moon itself was built by chronobots from the future.

The only problem i see with this book is, that once you get to the web page, you find a pretty much standard sales page, complete with customers satisfaction quotes and all that, and little less about what the book talks about.

I mean, the site says

were spoken to by the Lord God and Jesus Christ and were subsequently able to talk with them at any time.

And they only thought about sharing this by doing what? selling a book?, and nothing else, unless you pay for the book, you won't get anything else.


That kinds of puts everything on a different perspective..

I've read this book, it wasn't the worst I've read.It had the odd good idea but no one can say life on earth wouldn't exist without the moon.There was also too much juggling with numbers and the conclusions were too far out.There is also too much being made of the rolling rocks on the moon.Rocks will roll given the right circumstance! particularly in a lesser gravity.

You’re right, the web-site is naff, but I only quoted it because I thought it would be helpful. Amanda Valiant passed over some while ago, and her husband Alan is in his late eighties, so in order to continue making the book available for a very small sum, some of their friends set up the web-site. I bought my copy donkey’s years ago direct from Alan Valiant, when the web was still in its infancy.

It isn’t a book about astrophysics, nor is it in any way about religion; Christian or otherwise. It claims to provide truthful details about our Universe, how it is ordered and governed, and our position in it.

Various claims are made by the mainstream religions, and this book confirms some of those claims, and refutes many more. I’m not saying that any of it is either true or false, for that is for the individual to decide; nor am I seeking to persuade anyone to buy it.

I saw this thread and thought, “Where have I seen a reference to this before?” and posted my message accordingly. There was no ulterior motive involved.

The information about the moon is valid. A Course In Spiritual Philosophy can be downloaded for free as an eBook from numerous sources.
