Stardust to make Contact on January 2

NASA launched Stardust 5 years ago and since that time it has travelled over 2 billion miles. Stardust is the first spacecraft with the ability to retrieve samples obtained in space and return them to Earth for research.

However my bet is it will either not successfully collect the sample or fail to return to earth.
