Sometimes people must look everywhere else to find themselves.

Life is interesting to say the least.

Theres two situations, situation one is more likely then the second if you ask me.

Situation One: The CIA actually watches this site, on theyre free time, for laughs, because most of the stuff is so ridiculous it would be entertaining to even the highest levels of the government. Why would they get rid of it if we get so much wrong about everything?

Situation Two: They keep us up to make everything conspiracies, therefore discrediting any hint of truth in anything.

How do you know this for certain about the CIA?

Are you speculating or do you know for a fact?

Is there anyone else on this board who knows you physicially?

If not the easiest thing would be to simply replace you, and all other principle staff with agents. Yes, that would mean physical elimination (This could be done one by one or all at once) and then a "hostile" takeover of the forum. The forum would remain as is to the outside world of course, but with a subtle bias twist. A faint hint of conservatism. An itch that cannot be scratched.

I´ve said it before and will say it again: (Semi)Anonymous environments are easy to comprimise if needed, and are an excellent place to gather and control maverick minds.

I love this place and the opportunities it presents to share knowledge, but my suspicious nature has me still wondering about the true nature of A.T.S. as is.

About the weight NWO gives ATS, well, any board seems safe unless they have serious numbers (million+) of active members who at regular intervals demonstrate and show their colors in real life.

Hey, an idea: A.T.S. protest marches, all wear A.T.S. gear and neo-shades. No really. Could be the start of a trend?

'They' won´t shut it down, as it is too valuable

There are 189 members, and well over 4000 visitors (at a given point online).

They probably monitor who's who and who's new on the site, and keep a check on what topics are in vogue and how many people are taking the red pill! Maybe when these types of sites hit a certain mass, they will see it as the right moment for disclosure??

It may also be a way of disseminating ideas en masse, to see how we react to new information.

If 'they' even managed to overthrow the Technical feats of SO, his suit et al, and the site went down forever, the press coverage would be huge at least in the alternative press, and much resentment would occur (Virtual bad vibes)

We would then see the 3 amigos or their close aids re-emerge elsewhere on the net, and carry the torch of conspiracy forums.

This type of 'online lockdown', might also trigger a sophisticated war 'The Psi-Tech Wars', a bit like Star Wars, but with specialist geeks (no offence) fighting day in day out, tooth and nail the professional geeky puppeteers of the NWO, as doing this to one site may scare an underworld subnet culture to respond in 'alternative' ways especially at critical points of future NWO plans - no door is ever fully locked and no order has ever had an operationally infallible system

Shutting the site down would also imply in its very action that there really is substance behind conspiracy theories, and that may cause the most feared reaction of the NWO - uncontrolable mass hysteria.

Of course, if they redesigned the net, or they censor more of the content like net radio, or even allow companies like google to corner the market on who is seen on the net and who not with its recent acquisitions, then things may be altogther different.

Keep up the mental flexing SO et al (and press delete member data if it does happen ok? lol)

Well, here's a project for the ATS webmaster...take a look at just who is popping by for a visit...everybody leaves a trail...and let us know what kind of military/gov't/alphabet agencies check in. Techies? How about it?

Same reason they don't shut down John Lear or Bob Lazar or Dr Greer or any of his witnesses....

That would kind of prove the point that they are trying to deny.

Simply withholding attention to an issue, whether it's positive or negative attention is a powerful defense.

And to some extent, boards like ATS and others serve to help keep the real story confused.

All kinds of people come to talk about their opinions on this board. Opinions about 9/11, ETs, etc.

There is so much information out there now it's hard to figure out what's right and wrong. Look at JFK.

'They' love that, because it's next to impossible to figure out what really happened.

'Let them come out to ATS, and let them talk, because confusion is the best defense'.

Well for one thing, shutting this down would pretty much go in favor for CTers about suppressing the truth on various subjects, and another thing is that there are hundreds of thousands of forums dealing with conspiracies like ATS. And finally, there just be another one in the making that pops up on the internet, if ATS was shut down.

I'm certain that SkepticOverlord and Simon Gray and other administrators are not going to be deterred to create another one. Besides there are laws that protects this site.

Why worry about just one site, what they should do is hatch an evil plan to scrap the old internet and use excuses like public safety and hackers and then replace it with a new internet that is run by the governme.......oh wait, nevermind

Why would anyone want to shut down something that could be beneficial to them?

I mean think about it! Let's use the Chicago O'Hare UFO picture for intance. All we really know is that it is unidentified, it flies and it's an object. It could be some new stealthy aircraft project and now it's on here for everyone to see. Even the Russians can look in here and there is the potential for them to gain insight in what the US is up to. And this could work vise versa - where a Russian person could post a photo of something and the CIA could gain insight.

The only time I could see this place being blocked would be during a media blackout of some sort.

That would be very bad.

I know the answer to this juan. Because "They" are trying to just take away the internet altogether. Then we will have to go back underground for information on conspiracy theories/facts. Boo Ya!

Some of the topics covered are quite silly. Though they can be quite entertaining. Channeled aliens, 2012, Ascension, Scalar, HAARP, Chemtrails, anything originating from Theosophy (Astral New Age Tibetan Alien Spirit Guides from Orion). Some of these can be funny.

Real technology and projects are often ignored. Plasmonics, Electrolasers, and Project SUSTAIN are good examples. Realistic extraterrestrial contact is often challenged by New Age Channelers. There are truth trinkets here and there, but few and far between.

I don't think the CIA will ever do anything to this site. Its not their area. The NSA monitors this site as it does pretty much anything in Cyberspace. There's no reason at this time to shut down ATS. Only if it became a source for violent terror related networking and information will it be deemed a threat by the NSA and Secret Service. Until then ( some time after 2012 when the New Agers become violent after failed prophecies
) we can discuss, debate, and disinform.

Because they can care less about make believe fairy tales that this site produces. Even though there are some good stuff. THis site is mostly filled w/ bogus that the gov. could care less about.

People have to believe that they know what's really going on. Despite all of the BS that circulates, people need that feeling in order to be controlled.

We have something that the NWO fears most above all, numbers. I don't believe in the NWO, but if it existed then that's what I think what it would be afraid of most.

You can't steal from someone who puts a gun to your head.

Shattered OUT...

Like others said: Why shut down something that will aid them? Yes this place IS like catalog shopping! Just read through and you can find people who know your secrets then make a move to counter it! So why shut down the area where info is leaked too when you want to know where the leak is? It would be like digging a ditch outside to divert the water from your leaking water pipes without fixing the leak. Your only shifting the problem to somewhere else!
Also shutting down ATS would make EVERY SINGLE "conspiracy" person on here, such as myself 100% correct on government control and would FORCE the bu#es on here to rethink their "no they do not want control, just keep us safe" policy.

The day the government shuts down ATS is the day that George Orwells 1984 comes into full flight and light. Grab the pitchforks and torches and head for the hills folks!

My take on the matter and I am sure this is not the first time it has been said here, if "they" wanted to shut this site down they will wait untill the right time and then each and everyone that has ever logged onto this site will be considered a enemy combatant and we will be rounded up in the night and placed in an internment camp. Where BTW we would regroup and take over the whole place and we would know each other by our usernames. Yes I believe we can win this battle.

I think the main reason is that it keeps all us wierdos occupied and off the streets.

With all the time a lot of us log up here, it's hard to get into any real mischief.

I'm pretty sure ATS has been infected with undercover CIA agents. They are the ones who deny all evidence of NWO.
