Google Earth - Object in Australia

Yeah, just...no idea.

What state and nearest town? It looks artificial, but is interesting that it's there.

I remember reading a discussion about this on ATS about 2 months ago.
Not sure what the exact conclusion was, but the general consensus was
that this formation is not Alien or UFO related. An oil field or something.
The little yellow blobs are flames/smoke. You can see some of it drifting
away from the flame at the top of the triangle.

This is about 4.4 miles southwest of Badgingarra National Park in Australia. The coordinates are right there in the screen shot.

I see. It's just north of Perth, WA. Some of the posters on Google Earth say they think it may be a radio transmission tower.

There is a thin straight shadow from the center to the SW? Antenna? Sure looks out of place... a Radio tower serving Perth?

There is a 208 metre (682 Ft.) A.B.C. tower listed north of Perth.

I live in Australia. I have seen pictures of UFO's with that shape, but this would be upside down if it were like what i've seen from pictures. Probably a tower. Theres barely any settlement on the west coast. Everythnig is east.

The US has recently sewn up a deal for a base in WA in get this... Geraldton just north of the weird triangle thingie. Do any Aussie members know anyone in Geraldton? Or closer Perth? Google Earth just North of the triangle for Geraldton. A link:

If it wasn't a com-link already, then it soon could be the article specifically talks about a variety of communication installations... hmmm.

It's amazing all the little things Google Earth brings up...

EDIT: There is an existing SIGINT station just NE in Kojarena... too. I'm still thinkin' radio tower... AM or FM perhaps TV. If it were a triangular crossection mast the triangular property could be accounted for by the need to anchor guy wires? The darker soil... it is Western Aus... fire scorched grass on the antenna property?

I do not know what it is and I don't claim to.

HOWEVER, it looks to me like that shape is on the ground. Maybe a oil fuel spill (which somehow was a perfect triangle?)

North of Perth?
I might head out have a look.
I know alot of our airforce does training up north ways, target maybe?
theres a few blotch/scortch like marks around it....

This was posted about a month ago on here I believe..If I can find it I will post the link...

Looks like a simple antenna tower with two levels of guy wires anchored to the ground at the yellow spots. The discoloration may be there because grazing animals would not be able to get at the scrub due to the whole assembly being fenced in. So the triangle shape a result of the guy wire layout. Notice the triangle shape and anchor points of the picture posted above.

Looks like a yellow thumb tack to me.

Togetic, that image has been discussed on another thread started by neon haze. Some have concluded that it is lens flare, though that still does not explain the dark "thing" in the center of the flare.
