It's a form of growing crops in dry environments.
They grow in a circle because of a central sprinkler irrigates them.

You can find these in the Middle East, Africa, etc......

Nothing to see here, move along.


Edit: Check this one out, it looks like a Pac-Man that needs to turn around and eat that dot.

These have been discussed numerous times. It is just center-pivot irrigation. I see these kinds of fields every day on the way to work.

I see a similar system used in Canada, but the irrigation unit moves down a rectangular field. They don't move very fast, but it's kind of fun to watch these huge things role down a field.



Some smaller ones aren't as elaborate, I've seen them a simple as a water gun that fires water quite a distance. These can be a center pivot on a circle, or they can be moved down a field to cover a larger area.
