NASA releases new close up of Mars Face

Ill have to admit that it doesnt look much like a face anymore, at least not the face that we are used to seeing in the lower resolution pics.
However, I still believe and have for quite a while, that if turned upside down it really does have the appearance of a "gray" alien.
Also as already mentioned, the left side looks like it has collapsed inwards, giving the impression of the possibility that there is something inside of the mountain.
People need to remember that even though the face is the most popular icon in cydonia it isnt the only thing of interest. theres also the "pyramids" and the city ruins etc..
There are just so many people that really want this to be true and they arent going to be convinced that there is nothing there until either a probe is sent there or Man walks up there.

may coloapse if some pressure was put on it, or it got chiped at, i know this isnt on topic but ive posted about topic there, so just a little help please, im about to start a project on Lemuria and/or Atlantis. i remember there was a section of this site were all "projects" were put, but i carnt find it, can any one show me ?

Here is the thing though:
IF the "face" on mars was meant to be seen by us, and created by extraterrestrials it would have been made in such a way so that it looks like a face at a certain distance. Obviously if you zoom in too close it no longer looks like a face. The same can be said of anything. If you look at anything magnified it changes our perspective of what we are seeing. Remember the Nazca Lines and the Giant in Chile? Meant to be seen from the air at a certain height. zooming in or out at the incorrect distance and you no longer see the object as it was meant to be viewed.

That one actually never impressed me anyway and with that high res image from Malin it is very easy to see it for what it really is... an ISLAND

The collapsed dome is interesting, as it is not a normal collapse for a volcano and there is no crater or any other indicator that it was a volcano, so it does seem to indicate the mountain was hollow and it caved in (Look at Mt St Helen... that one exploded sending debris all over the country, leaving a big gash in the side.

There is no field of debris

However if you forget the silly face for a minute and look at the whole picture, you can clearly make out the old shoreline... You can also clearly see the continental shelf... and the rays of silt radiating outward from the island all around.

We have seen many images that Mars had a lot of water... this shows that it was once very deep around the island [based on the dimensions given for this feature...

Now as to NASA lying to you.... LOL well they are at the very least "playing their audience" because there are different facts at many different levels. How much you get to know depends on how much you are willing to actually research...

Did you know how close they are to a Warp Drive? Bet you didn't know they were working on it!

NASA also love to tease the Lemmings with cute names like "Blueberries" and "Roosevelt" for this other face on Mars below...



NASA will play us all until we can get our own ship to have a look... and at that point we will probably run right smack into Space Command's Secret fleet that will stop us in a jiffy

But the "Face" is an ISLAND

Don't know about a project section... our "project" on the Moon images and the Stargates are just threads very LONG threads, but just threads...

The bottom line is that i am 50/50 on this issue and i don't have an agenda to want mars to have an artificial face on it.

That's pretty much what i've been trying to tell doc all along, was not able to do it.. he kept coming for more.

I never said it was not a real photograph i said it looked more like a computer generated image, big difference.( There was a misunderstanding, when IIS showed me the photo he didn't say it was supposed to be a real photo but then when he told me it was afterwards, i said I'm open to both possibilities, real photo's or computer generated images but i still think it looks more computer generated. So you should quote the later dialog or this seems like you just nick pick.)

Hey! So what's new here? This darn face has been doing the rounds of the net since the age of the dinosaurs!!

I'd be glad to see something new instead of a worn out 'face' .....like a beer bar or a casino down there on Cydonia! I'm up to my gills seeing those cracked contours on that so called face!

And by the way, this has already been covered in a post by Doc Velocity in one of my threads. He's posted the same images last week. So this is as dead as yesterday's news!

And oh yes. why isn't anyone paying much attention to this face (Below)?. At least this looks like a face compared to the so called Mars face in Cydonia!

I'm no Geologist, but Meteor or very ancient volcano comes to mind. Possibly even just a random assortment of mountains.


Believe me, I'm a believer of UFO's, I believe there is life out there, and they look in on us.


But I just don't see anything in these photos.


From the top, you see some odd angles on the outer edges, but once you see the full 3d version, it looks natural more than not.

I can definatly see an island. And acually, that makes more sence than anything ive heard so far. Now keep in mind, its from the picture, and who knows whats been done to it.... its 3d, so its very easy to make "mistakes" or edit things before release.

Well Hoagland's pony finally got corraled.

It's most likely a small island in a dry lakebed, with a slumped 'face,' but it's not a face.

Either that or NASA's invested in hiring some really mean photoshoppers.

Seriously, if it was constructed, it would be much more regular, even in advanced decay.

There are absolutely no indications of intelligence at work here--excepting hyperactive ones on earth.

So now plan B, those pyramids...such beautiful ponies! Still running free...for now.

The Pyramids on mars: Where taco bell is shipping all the useless Food Pyramids to make room for the square....


But on a more serious note... who knows, maybe thay are pyramids... but from what i've been seeing, mars natural formations are much different from that of earths. I donno, they could be alien-made. Im open for any suggestions. That, and we really don't have hi-rez pics of them do we?

LOL well I can start on the Pyramids... but don't have time right now except to mention that the one main pyramid shows that the edges do not line up. If you see a pyramid from above, even one that is worn down and covered in dirt, it will still look like a square.. with the diagonal lines going from corner to corner, meeting at the center...

Even after much wear this will still be the case The angles will not change.

Here is a close up of the main one at Cydonia... I have seen many attempts to draw lines on this image to "make it fit", but that one "wall" is the wrong angle and too long... no amount of erosion can do that.. Look atthe edges... they are not even straight, they are curved...



Now here is a group of many ancient pyramids in china that are heavily erroded and covered with dirt, yet they clearly show the pyramid shape. Its interesting to me that we make so much fuss about cydonia and almost completely ignore the Chinese ones. There are hundreds...




Here are the Malvern Hlls in England just to show that pyramids do form naturally




So lets bury Cydonia and look for some real anomalies

Come on Mike you know "they" don't want to address any real issues... Do you know that in all the times that image has been posted NOT ONE SKEPTIC has spoken out against it? They always either ignore it or bring up the old face...

This also happens a lot in the Moon thread when you show them something that is extremely hard to explain... you get noise abot shadows and image quality instead... The color Clementine images have been out to the public for some time now, since we posted them on the release date... yet you still cannot find them on the websites. Seems people prefer to use the old Clementine V1.5 images to show anomalies...

Those are some neat pictures zorgon.

Who know's it may or may not be a natural formation. I think it's more likely to be a natural formation, that our expectations fill in with meaning.

If we all looked like fish, it would be a rock.

What I see is the constant promulgation of soul shattering scary faces with or without subliminal reinforcement.

For heaven's sakes - if the Gray's are a mirror, someone is obsessed with horror and it doesn't make it so for the whole world.

Besides, we're all still here. Nasa has done some pretty questionable things, if you ask me, including promoting the idea of reading people's minds at airports.
