to get a bit off topic, change is all that is in this life, it's always about transformation, and creating further, therefore this is all constant change.

change occures fast for those that stand open for it. growth!

you just pick when about to open these new doors in front of you, by accessing them. life is full of portals, every step at a time.

Densha and 64 whatever,

You are using logic where it is inapplicable.

You are posting in PARAnormal studies, aka out of the ordinary.

If you wish to jump in and state your opinion do so in a respectful manner.

You DO NOT know what any of us have gone through.

You DO NOT know who any of us are.

Please refrain from judging anyone as you are the ones who look like fools my friends.

Change is what we are. We always change, it is part of our reality (a fallen one at that).

Cells die and are reborn everyday. Do you think atoms would have similar programs?

We are in a constant state of death and rebirth, such is this life. We die and are reborn again.

Catharsis.

I am 64738 and yes, i use cold logic whenever possible. Why do i do that, to make you feel bad? No, that was not my intention. I use logic to weed out superstition and if logic cannot explain something i am willing to accept it as unexplained and deserving more research. For example, crystal skulls, pyramids, telepathy, OOBE, astral realms and so on.

Besides, debate without anyone opposing something is worthless and similar to situation when a leader is surrounded just by 'yes' men who never criticize.

Off-topic: This is why i don't like post ratings on forums since people often refrain form telling their point of view just to get or keep more points.

Thanks for that, forum trolls are quite nasty. On Topic... I find that I am able to produce a small form of meditation when I come home on the bus each day. Usually i'm pretty anxious to get home but I find that if I close my eyes and lean back on my stuff, I start to zone out. The movements of the bus, the music on the radio and the general chit chat seem to help me concentrate on my thoughts by realizing what I shouldn't concentrate on.

I'm not a troll. Forum trolls are not people who disagree with you, but people who intentionally try to incite some sort of fight or strong, negative reactions. I am telling you my true thoughts about the subject at hand, and trying to bring a rational perspective to the topic at hand. I was not aware that an "open mind" could be so selective, it's a bit contradictory.

You simply misunderstand what logic is. It is quite applicable here because I am just pointing out that several posters jumped to the conclusion that the original poster had magical powers based on extremely flimsy and questionable evidence, and not much of it to boot. If having an open mind is believing in things based on nearly nothing, then sure, I'm close minded, that's not exactly going to be an insult.

Remember, these studies are "paranormal" for a reason: in nearly all cases there is no evidence to back any of it up. In other words, most of the phenomena that is posted about does not exist outside the imaginations of the posters. If there ever is any evidence that can stand up to simple logic and testing, then yeah, that's fine, but I honestly don't think it will be coming any time soon.

Nor you me. I'm not trying to know you or be your friend, I am responding to ideas that people are publicly sharing with the community. I make no personal attacks. I may question questionable beliefs, logic, and evidence, though.

Please refrain from judging anyone as you are the ones who look like fools my friends.

Please apply your own logic to yourself, I see you have just judged two people as "fools" based on their personal beliefs in logic and science. Just because I disagree with you and am vocal about it doesn't mean I hate you or that I'm judging you. If you're not used to opposing ideas or debate and you only expect to be coddled by others who believe the same as you, then I suggest you simply put me on your ignore list.

No, you are being a forum troll now please stop unless you have something to add to the original conversation which has been forgotten due to your thread take over on "logic" as you call it. Start your own thread and stay out of this one.

I don't think anyone here is 'trolling', but I do think that if you're going to play the role of a hard-line non-believer, and not contribute to the discussion in the thread, then it might be time to stop posting in it. I believe in logic as much as anyone else, and am more skeptic than believer, but if you have little beyond general skeptecism to offer to a thread that is focused on (essentially) speculation assuming that psychic phenomenon does exist, it might be time to step out before derailing the thread.

just my two cents. moving on...

the original poster said that he sometimes gets deja vu when watching movie previews.. as if he'd seen the preview for the movie years before. I get exactly the same thing. I have no idea what it could be, and it's usually fairly indistinct aside from a general feeling of "hey, didn't that movie come out two years ago?" I can't recall any specific movies this happened with (it's been a while), but I know it's happened at least three or four separate times. it's a very odd feeling, paranormally oriented or not...
