This is an interesting article.
As the U.S. media was too patriotic, the French media was too confrontational. The article actually says that the French coverage amounted to
"disinformation." Interesting.
I remember the BBC saying that the U.S. media "could not be trusted" after the invasion of Iraq.
It seems that the media takes on the attitudes of the country. Maybe the only reliable media coverage is in neutral nations.
