What has happened here??

I was just curious as to what in the world is going on in the paranormal board?

It seems like not too long ago this board was flooded with interesting posts and stories of paranormal happenings. People were seeing ghosts, experiencing strange phenomenon, taking pictures and shooting videos. What has happened to all that?

Are people just not having these experiences anymore?

It just seems odd that there are no longer tons of interesting stories and photos pouring in daily. Sure, there is the occasional recollection or repost of something that has been beaten to death already; but where is the new stuff?

Have all the ghosts and spectors gone away? I refuse to believe none of us here at ATS are having paranormal experiences?

What are your thoughts?

I just think people have run out of paranormal things to talk about. Aside from talking about any new events or experiences that people have, all of the topics have pretty well been covered.

True, it does seem as though most of the topics have been covered. But shouldn't there be new topics.

What I'm saying is...wouldn't you think ghosts would still be visiting people? Wouldn't you think strange things would still be going on? Why has it all stopped suddenly?

This is my point.

I think the entire paranormal community here at ATS has left.

Maybe the ghosts got 'em.

lol we are still here. Just not as vocal as usual.
Sometimes these forums or subjects go through a somewhat less active type of lull.. it often seems to be widespread and passes in time. I am currently in the opposite of the lull most are in. I am in a cycle of increased activity on ATS.
I guess I am not in tune with the masses.

Sure. But forums flow like the tides. High tide. Low tide. Hurricane floods. Tsunamis. The extra low tide before tsunamis. Right now there probably is a low tide. No biggie.

I just find myself in need of a good read sometimes. I crave a good discussion about the paranormal. I need a new picture to pick apart looking at a supposed ghost.

I would agree. I just wish that something interesting would happen in my world so I could post it up!

I agree, but IMO it seems the whole abovetopsecret boards have died down. I come in and the topics hardly change. I was actually going to start a thread on it.

It has gone quiet.
