The Judiciary Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives subpoenaed new documents Tuesday from Attorney General Alberto Gonzales as part of its investigation into the dismissals of federal prosecutors, its chairman said.

Democratic Rep. John Conyers said he had run out of patience with the Justice Department.
