Okay, I have a 5-6 year old E-Machine, it was very good for surfing the web and some pictures and stuff, I certainly got my $400 worth out of it.
It won't boot up now, not even in safe mode. I get black screens with a bunch of writing (commands etc ) and it just keeps going through those.
I've decided it might be time for a new one.
I found a great deal ( I think ) on a Dell today.
It's a
Dimension E521
AMD Athlon - 64 3500+
Windows XP -Home
512 Mb single channel DDRz SDRAM at 667 MHz - 1DIMM
80GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM) w/ DataBurst Cache.
NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Integrated Graphics GPU
16x DVD Rom
and.. 19" flat panel monitor..
all for only $399 plus tax. includes free shipping.
I have a Dell XPS that is built up pretty good, Dual Core Processor, plently of speed and memory.
This Dimension would be used only for surfing the web and maybe printing some documents from time to time.
Good Deal?
