From what I saw, it pretty much stays in the same location, though it looks like it's angled to fly to the right of the screen?

(Was the Mothman ever sighted in China? I thought it was just on the east coast, though I could be wrong?)


It's strange, whatever it is. I'm anxious to see what other people have to say.

Looks like a bird that is caught by a wire or something. I didn't think Mothman looked like a bird. I thought it was more people-ish looking than that.

Anyways, interesting find.

well i really didnt understand what it was..
its wings looked to be pretty big and i felt it was kinda bright.

I don't know much about Mothman, save from what I've read in a few articles and the movie that was out a few years ago, but that video is interesting nonetheless!

This footage has already been discussed.... *looks for the thread* ....somewhere else. I thought it was a laser air show being projected onto the clouds anyway.

Looks like a moth...not a mothman. When I hit the pause at various points on the video the thing has the general shape of an actual moth...not of a man with wings. Could be a large moth with a light shining on it from beneath.

Yeah i posted this ages ago.... it was basically talked down to be either an actual moth or a laser show of a moth...

Sadly, I tend to agree.

The strange thing about it is that the wings are flapping but it stays in the same spot. Something with wings usually just puts its wings out to float. flapping continueasly would cause it to move around more. So if it actually is a living entity it would have to be stuck to something.

I gotta say, I am highly suspicious of this as well... the object has way to much luminence, looks animated, and never moves. The laser light show idea rings pretty clear to me. Interesting though. OP, you might want to check out the original thread to gain insight.

is mothman an alien? the object in the vid is unidentified and it seems to be flying more like flapping those wings(?). but if its mothman, then i think this thread should be in crytozoology.

I don't remember Mothman being a glow-in-the-dark critter. Maybe he stopped by Chernobyl on his way to Bejing and got irradiated.

Seriously, though, I call shenanigans on this. it's glowing like someone's shining a light on it, and the thing never moves even though it's 'wings' appear to be moving. the wings could also be a weird zoom artifact if the object being filmed, whatever it is, is very far off.

As much as I want it to be real, it feels like a fake.

Why would the mothman be glowing? It looks like something stationary was placed above their house. Maybe some kind of strips of reflective cloth or something that uses the threads from cheerleader pompoms. The fact that it doesn't move should be a dead give away that it's fake. Anything the size of a human that moves its wings that fast would be shooting through the air.

That's what I thought initially... but then it is filmed at a great distance and you can still see it because it is glowing. I don't know what it was, but I don't necessarily think it was a simple moth.

To me it looks like a glow in the dark kite. There might be kids on the other side flying a kite. The wings move like the tail of a kite. Just my opinion of course. I wonder if they sell kites that have the form of insects and glow in the dark? Anyway...who flies a kite at night? Don't know?

Could be a hologram, if indeed it is possable to produce a hologram 'out of this air' that is what I think it would look like. Just my 2 cents.
