I have to chime in. I live in a heavily populated area in California myself (San Diego) This event happens on a weekly basis. Glad it wasn't me who
robbed a bank or stole a car. This person needs to put the pipe down and actually go outside sometime and witness state of the art technology like
trains, plains, and automobiles.

I've noticed these odd items in significant quantity for several weeks on my commute to and from Los Angeles and Thousand Oaks (often late at night).
They are not normal from my perspective. I cannot explain what they are unless the police department suddenly has a huge budget for very large
helicopters to fly very late at night. My husband communicates with a friend in Ontario (Canada) who describes them the same way. Perhaps the police
dept there had a huge budget increase too.
