What do all of you think of this footage and the 'analysis' that is conducted after it?

Ignore the last part of the film, it just seems to be random pictures of holes in the ground and well known UFO fakes...

I know the first clip, at a glance, is another 'Z0mG CGI!!!!11!' reaction maker, but the creator of the analysis does make some interesting points about the video which may make you think otherwise.

Interesting. to be honest, i don't know an awful lot about photographic/videographic analysis, so i can't really comment too much on the analysis, though it appears to have some merit. my gut instinct from just looking at the video however makes me want to say it's a fake done with CGI.

i'll be interested to hear the opinion of those more educated in analyzing this kind of thing, though, because on the off chance that this is legitimate footage, it's damn near the holy grail of UFO video.

I can only attest to some parts of the photo analysis from my own experience.

About the cgi. tbh any photo and video regardless how good and clear and correct and "real" can always be shoved off to fakes. If you look at what amateurs can pull off in the editing and 3d modelling communities. some stuff is beyond hollywood quality. So I won't go there, it has no point to do so.

I found this video one of the most intriguing I've seen in so far.
There don't seem to be any transparency errors with the craft flying behind the tree's (like a crude alpha channel would) and the craft is quite well detailed, instead of "too bland" and without any "ridiculous" details.. of course one can debate forever as to how another species thinks of design

In general the question of why would they be inerested in a species that can barely get off the ground (from their advanced point of view) bugs me. Unless extreme curiosity humans posses is a universal trait which I highly doubt.

Also why would an advanced species investigate and hover above a seemingly uninteresting treeline? to which you could argue they are more advanced and are perhaps looking for something that we are oblivious to (for now).

but speculating like that doesn't bring much. if you assume "advanced alien" everything can made to make sense

apart from being an amazing video, there's one real problem I have with it.

"original footage from youtube" Personally I wouldn't even begin analyzing a video from youtube. the size is far too reduced and compression far too high removing bucketloads of information from the imagery.

I see no point as to analyze bad source material.

I understand most original tapes, negatives etc etc aren't available at allor not available to us online. but the simple fact is if you resize a video that small with a bucketload of compression so it's easily viewable of the internet a lot of detail is obscured, pieces of information that could prove it real or fake are destroyed by compression.

in the end I'd say, nice video really nice. but far from conclusive as we can't really analyze it.

Good points on the Youtube thing. It is a shame that half the time we don't know where these videos originate from, let alone have someone to contact for the original footage.

But, given that this is all we have, i am genuinely impressed if it is a CGI job. It would be quite an incredible one if it is.

If it isn't... well... it could really be the 'smoking gun'.

Finally find a decent video and it gets pushed down the page by reptilians and faces on mars... i don't think so.

(Shameless bump)

Sorry but clearly a fake.

What you see isn't even video footage. Look at the surface of the water, there is no movement, further there is no three dimensional depth to the scene. Note how foreground objects and distant objects move together as the camera pans. What you are looking at is a still photograph of a scene and the cgi ufo has been added to it. Layers have been used to place it 'behind' the trees.

It might be fake, but crafts like this one that hyperdimension warp between relms do exsist. Aliens exsist. Government technology that looks alien exsist. all you have to do is look at all the evidence from now untill ancient past. With the "huge lie" that is portrayed as life in everyday society no wonder there is a cover up....

I can do it too you know...

About the video...well like others I immediatly thought "CGI!!!11" and unfortunately don't know enough about video editing to figure it out

Good Job Foofstar! This "IS" an awesome video and it clearly shows all the tell tale signs of a ufo video. The only problem is that it is a much better than anybody is used to. I like that. However many people when they see a video that is good have trouble grasping the issue at hand and their minds automatically rate it into the "Fake " category. Until people are "OK" with the idea it can happen, does happen, and will continue to happen, then it won't happen for them. Whether this is fake or not. I don't know. I haven't seen this video before and I have done no research into it. But to be honest at first my mind's initial response also told me it was fake, not logically, but more than anything because it is so close and such a good video, that is until my brain actually realized wait....this can happen, I think you have a really good post here. At the very least the best UFO post of the day. Good work! I am impressed.

If you look back you'll see a post that explains that it is a fake. It isn't even a true video. Just a still photograph (note there is no depth or perspective, no movement to the surface of the water, no movement of the trees...) with an added blatantly cgi saucer. The title page declaring it to be a Tonybudz Production (repeat Production) should have also been a clue.

It does sort of look like a still photograph with some digital editing done. i didn't notice it until the above poster mentioned it, but everything looks far too static and clean, except for the bird, and the fact that this is pointed out specifically in the 'analysis' is also sort of suspicious, because if they weren't trying to dissuade people from thinking it was a still photograph being manipulated into a video it wouldn't really prove jack. i believe the bird would be pretty easy to add into the video (compared to the 'ufo') and i still think that the flying object itself has too much of a 'CGI shine' to it to be a real object.

and guys, let's not derail the thread with debates about whether or not these things exist and why or why they wouldn't be here visiting us, all right? it's an important topic, surely, but there are other places to discuss that stuff; so can we stick to discussing the subject presented?

Sadly for me, the videos downfall lies in that it was from youtube.

Not that youtube is a known place for never to be proven videos, but surely if this was real, and given the 'quality' it would have made news elsewhere, before ending up on the tube.

No media coverage, no scrutiny by organisations who make it their job to (objectively) cover such things.

Reminds me of that organisation that made an effort to put out a load of UFO footage, and then turned around and said "AHHA FOOLED YAS !!" and then went on to detail how each and every video was a fake with proof of production.

Good clip tho, serves to show us we are being deceived by both those who provide the evidence and those who deny any evidence.

Till the day comes....

I'm with Torsion on this one.

Most certainly appears to be a static background. Infact, there literally is no life to it, which makes it rather clever as the creator is forcing you to concentrate on the bird, then the UFO and then keep you focused on the UFO.

Intelligently done with above average execution.

I'd suggest people look up on google about techniques in the industry such as 2.5 D ..it explains why to never trust a locked off camera (static and only zoooms and pans).

The craft is CGI the anti aliasing is set way to sharp for an object at that distance.

Wyne...

does anybody think it looks like a minituare set? you know how older movies used to use small sets to make something look realistic and just scaled everything down. well i think thats what it is plus cgi for the ufo.... the ufo doesn't look real at all to me. now i do believe in ufos and extraterrestrials... but i don't believe in this video.... if yall disagree prove me wrong please

Okay, nothing kills the legitimacy of this film more than the music added in.
Then, there are all the unrelated pics at the end.
Was this some sort of student film project?
