You do know that it is an April fools article/joke right? Just making sure.

I think he gathered that.

I would have trouble believing this story even if it weren't released on april 1st. But never-the-less, being of scientific mind... I would still have to look into it... *sigh.

ha ha nice one.

But I wonder if any material could could out gravity, I suppose we´d have to find out what gravit y actually is first.

hey...

I'm the author of that article. I just found out someone posted a link to it from here. Glad you guys found it funny.

The whole idea behind that April 1st joke was based on some sci-fi stories I've read about a hollow earth where there's a mini-black hole or something at the center of the hollow and midway between the very center and the external crust, you would be weightless because the gravity from the miles-thick crust and the mini-black hole would cancel each other out.

So I just modified that idea and put the super dense matter near the surface with a hollow (cave) under it. By walking under it, it would cancel out the earth's gravity (if the material above was denser than all the combined soil, rock, mantle, etc. directly underneath). Well either that or you would be pulled apart by 2 opposing gravitational pulls. hahaha

Supposedly a "real" anti-gravity cave. But looks kind of like a camera-trick to me. hehehe

Yeah, i find it interesting how the camera cuts to just the hand letting go of the dirt. If the dirt really did "fall" to the ceiling, wouldn't the two guys standing on the ground also "fall" upward? The camera trick here is simply that someone turned the camera upside down.

The Avril Una name was given away too soon, but I really enjoyed reading that one.

Very well written.
